You arrive at The Anvil nightclub 10 minutes early. Based off the stupid dad jokes and the weird job description, you expected this place to suck. It's actually hopping. There's a line out the door.
You head past the line and try to talk to the bouncer. Unfortunately, a group of ladies having a girls night had the same idea first, and they're taking up all of his attention.
You stand there and wait for a couple of minutes, but they aren't letting up. You're pretty sure they're already drunk, and they are refusing to take 'no' for an answer.
Do you:
1) Push past them and address the bouncer
2) Talk to the women and try to convince them to shut up for a minute
You attempt to address the women instead of the bouncer.
"Um, excuse me, I just need to get by for a moment...
'Scuse me.
Hey, pardon me, just need to talk to the bouncer for a moment."
They turn their attention on you.
"Hey, fuck off, we're trying to talk to our friend."
"Yeah, we're trying to talk to our friend, leave us alone."
How do you respond?
1) I'm sorry to bother you. (Wait a few minutes)
2) It'll just take a minute.
3) Shut your mouth, isn't one gaping hole enough? 4) (SMART) You're going to get your friend in trouble.
