At my job, we have a TV display to promote the NFL season. Being that no one in my department follows football but me, they found an old DVD and let it run on repeat. I stand there at work shaking my head as the 2007 NFL season is shown on repeat all day long to entice fans to purchase TVs and beer.

But for me, it's the highlights of watching how much and how little the NFL has changed since then:

-A lot of QBs are the same (Brady, Manning, Rivers, Romo, Rothlesburger, etc)
    -Favre was still a Packer
    -Bowe caught his first TD
    -The Patriots were nearly undefeated
    -TO was still a Cowboy
    -Andy Reid was coaching Seattle
-LT rushed for the most yards (1,474)
-Adrian Peterson was the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year
-Patrick Willis was the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year
-Redskin Sean Taylor was shot and killed at home
    -Patriots "spygate" discovered
-Mike Nolan was the 49ers coach and wore a suit on the sideline for 1 game

Also I have now found this.

Let it be known that I in general dislike Buzzfeed because it's about as awful as Bleacher Report.

Also I just remembered, I went to this local Hot Dog place in Provo on Saturday to watch the Huskies game since they were the only place for some reason that had the Big Ten network.

It's a pretty popular place at BYU, so they had random signatures on the wall from people like Steve Young and Ty Detmer.

Of course, Andy Reid's was there too.

For some reason his seemed more humorous to me than the others.

    Because Andy Reid and food.

    Ah, Trent Richardson a Colt.

My Ahmad Bradshaw draft pick keeps getting worse and worse.

I'm thinking next year I'll handle my fantasy draft the same way the Jaguars handle the real draft, and just throw together a board covered in all the players' names, and then throw a chicken on top of it: whomever's name the chicken shits on, I draft.

Bradshaw's always been a pretty shitty player. the giants in their best seasons just managed to make him look passable.

Breaking Bad's never drawn that many viewers. This last season has been a dramatic increase, but it's still the equivalent of a mediocre network show, ratings wise.

I just want to know who took McGahee in Rare w/no Sauce, because we are not friends.

The sad thing is I already have Martin, Jackson, and MJD which I thought was going to be a pretty stout RB core. Instead I am starting Jaquizz this week. I mean I'm a huge oregon state fan, but this is going to be a rough week, and I desperately need a win. What I should do is shop some RBs for WR help, but I hate selling low on jackson and MJD.

Chiefs D looks legit but Alex Smith is failing to impress me. Also that O line is giving up a lot of pressure on 3-4 rushers.

Other than the hail mary at the end of the half, has Smith thrown a ball farther than 8 yards tonight?

Just think, if the Eagles hadn't gone for that completely retarded and unnecessary 2-point early in the game, they'd be able to pull ahead with just another TD and extra point.

I'll go back to, if they hadn't attempted that completely stupid and pointless 2 point conversion early, they'd only be a TD and 2-point from tying it now...

    nope they'd be down 9

the only way a touchdown would've tied it here would be if they had GOTTEN that early 2 pt conversion (then another one here)

That's a wrong call then. It's usually snap infraction on the center.

Hey so, you guys remember my company league that I've been mentioning. The one where nobody understands what the fuck they are doing.

This is the recent rules change our League Manager ( who owns Peyton Manning) recently made, two weeks into the league.

Changed scoring category TD Pass from 4 to 6 points.
Changed scoring category Every 25 passing yards from 1 to 2 points.
Changed scoring category 40+ yard TD pass bonus from 1 to 2 points.
Changed scoring category 50+ yard TD pass bonus from 1 to 3 points.
Changed scoring category 300-399 yard passing game from 3 to 5 points.
Changed scoring category 400+ yard passing game from 3 to 7 points.
    Removed scoring category Interceptions Thrown.
Changed scoring category Every 10 rushing yards from 1 to 2 points.
Removed scoring category Total Fumbles Lost.

This is of course, is one of the most whackadoo bullshit things I have ever seen pulled in fantasy football.

    Ever.

WR's are still standard scored. This triples the amount of qb points you get, so, if you don't have Peyton Manning or Aaron Rodgers, you're fucked.

Of course, there is also the implication that everyone execpt for the center got the count wrong, instead of not snapping the ball when he was suppose to.
