I'm on board for a not-Breloom Grass/Fighting. Froakie's alright, but I've already got a Sharpedo, so I'm not really aching for another Water/Dark, but it's a cool typing nonetheless (and Sharpedo is one hell of a glass cannon, so he kind of sucks in single-player). And I'm not really digging Fennekin past Basic stage, but the typing is so great. This is gonna be a tough call. None of them are bad, but none are really standing out to me either.
that didn't really end up true with resharim. water/dragon is much better and one of the best typings you can have. grass/dragon would be interesting with the 4x water, thunder, and grass resists but not a whole lot else going for it.

I think I would be okay with saying gen 4 has the best starters overall
but the gen 6 starters are all pretty good except maybe chespin. grass/fighting is a pretty swanky typing
Agreed with the caveat that Gen I was all good too (I almost prefer I for the relative simplicity of design over IV's more complex designs). VI is successful in that there are no bad choices, but none of them seem particularly compelling to me either. Way more hyped for Ghost Tree and Kung Fu Panda and the Fossils and the Helioptle evo and...

after years of idiots saying things, Nintendo listened.
Behold your gritty pokemon reboot.
Next will be a short series about Legend of Zelda set in a steam punk world where link gets a gun and shoots Ganon to death.

Also, there is a move named Smack Down.

I don't dislike any of the starters. this is the first in a while.
I think smack down has been around for a little while. Does extra damage to flying types I think.
it's a rock move that removes magnet rise and telekinesis.

What about chespin
or froakie
I don't
ughhh all so good
helioptile's ears unfold when it attacks
I assume this guy will frill up when he does
Love it love it love it.
If they don't, this whole transition to 3D is for naught.

it's not ludicrous because it doesn't make sense
it makes a ton of sense, obviously
it's ludicrous because it's really, really good
She makes me think of billy crystals wife in the princess bride

After googling Pangoro I will probably have 4
(Chespin, Hawlucha, Pangoro, Sawk, Trapinch, Mismagius)
At least Chespin gets swole
here
or are you still calling fake :P
Looks like Greninja for me!
Also, did everyone else see the middle stage for Talonflame?

It's neat but eh. I'll probably trade for an egg raise one and regret not starting with one, but that pretty much always happens so whatever.
