Alrighty, I'm still waiting on the official word from admin to have the Tournament Forum open another year so we can throw down again, but that won't stop us from doing character submissions.
As of now, there is no deadline. But that will change as the start date looms closer.
Just submitting a character does not reserve you a spot in the tournament. You still have to have some semblance of
of artistic merit with your drawing. With that said, don't let this frighten you away from submitting a character, I was pretty easy-going last year with entries and that will continue. Hell, I let myself in, that's pretty bad.
CHARACTER SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Characters must be submitted before (insert a date here).
All characters must be sensible. Busting out Gojira or Unicron may be a hands-down way to “beat†your opponent, but it just ain’t creative. Most of the greatest fights to go down in AC history were between mere mortals with some slight “abilities†whether they be 733T ninja skillz or having a genie rammed up their arse. Along with that, try to keep your character within, oh let’s say, 15 ft and half a ton dry weight.
All submissions must include the following…
-a 360width x 750height character shot.
-a 200 x 200 “mug shotâ€
-a small synopsis of your characters abilities. If you want to do a whole bloody story, more power to you, but we just want to know what we can expect to see from your character.
-a proper way to host your images whether it be ImageShack, Photobucket, or whatever you kids are using now-a-days
-a gorram guarantee that you intend to, to the best of your ability, see this ship through to the end

I'm gonna pretend I have an excuse not to get involved. I always love the idea of it but i know i'm so bad at getting things done when i actually need to i would undoubtedly drop out at some point anyway. I'll just cheer from the sidelines! Looking forward to seeing some character sheets!
So I've never participated in one of these before. Is it okay to use the same design we have been using for our avatar and villan entry? (minus the worm arms) Obviously I would be redrawing myself for the character submission if that is the direction I go.

This is my Pinky Powers character. He is much like my old character, but updated to better reflect my current self. He is of course in far better shape than me.
Notable attributes include a rather large and sharp-edged nose, kind of pointy ears, like that of the elves... or Yoda. Take your pick. He has a fairly round head, and is always unshaven, though not so shaggy as to possess a full on beard. He wears a black turtle neck sporting the PinkyMade logo and jeans with sneakers of some kind.
Weapon of choice is his trusty Rubber Chicken.
Pinky Powers is far from retarded, but it is obvious from your first meeting that his mind is broken and his reality fractured. Strangely enough, however, truly bizarre, paranormal and possibly supernatural things do occur in his funky wake. Though he himself holds no preternatural ability, Pinky Powers has history and fellowship with things no sane man would venture to report on or document.

We need a way to weed out the noobs. I had mentioned before some sort of questions panel, where the replies had to be drawn. I think this is a fun game we can all play and use as a noob filter.
