I don't really even think gone home is a low gameplay game. It just isn't mechanics heavy. But it is super fascinating and interesting to explore that house. I call that good gameplay.

I'm really liking Beyond. It's less guided then I thought too, I watched the QL and stuff in the training went differently for me a few times.
Also since we started talking GotY, right now I think mine is Bioshock Infinite. Though that might be because I'm still basking in the sweaty afterglow of actually being able to beat the game. I just think it's great fun to play, especially if you mix up the vigors rather than relying on shooting. It might have been ham-fisted in places, but I think it had enough really good story moments to justify the average ones. And it had an ending that is actually worth beating the game for. I don't see many other games interesting enough to warrant a 2 hour GB stream just about their ending.

But the new Ganondorf is so well-designed and the combat arena is just so cool to look at, and the lighting on all the hits makes it feel like something huge is happening
And then out of nowhere the most brutal thing that's happened in any Zelda happens in the one that was maligned for being "kiddy"
