the way the rules of that zombie apocalypse work, it seems like they could reasonably cobble a civilization back together, eventually
I mean, once you get rid of the extent zombies (which is no mean feat but seems doable), it really just becomes a matter of disposing of the dead properly
You couldn't really have huge giant cities and the like because every murder or suicide or old person who lives alone dying in their sleep can represent a potential outbreak

that's COOL but apart from the same infighting you already get in a walking dead scenario there's little tension
Do we actually know that season 2 will star Clementine, or is everyone just assuming that from the fact that she's literally the only character in the trailer?
I had an idea for a story that was so post-apocalyptic that life had returned to normal for much of the world, but now zombies were mostly an annoyance (other than the fact that getting attacked by one still made you a zombie). Many products and services revolve around protecting yourself from zombies, be it security systems for homes, strong vehicles, or weapons specifically suited to stopping an approaching zombie.
When you spot one, you call Zombie Control, and they come get it.
Massive debates exist in politics to determine whether it should be a criminal offense to kill a zombie, and whether they should all be quarantined until a cure can be found. Also, extreme arguments on when a human is no longer of their own mind, and at what stage in their transformation are they eligible for being destroyed.
Pets in all forms have become illegal, as they could pick up the virus from wild animals, so you get a whole Blade Runner-esque black market for pets.
Perhaps a husband keeps his zombie'd wife hidden in their house because he doesn't want her destroyed and hopes a cure comes soon.
Persona 5 is definitely happening. Some games take long to be made, just because you don't see it 2 years after it was first announced doesn't mean it's automatically DOA.
I think I'd really like it if Persona 5 took place in college. And that you get to pick your classes at the beginning of each semester which has consequences on social links, stats, which slots are free time, etc.
