    Ugh...I saw that story posted earlier. My only optimism for this situation is that maybe this dumb law will get deemed unconstitutional in court.

    well the wisconsin state supreme court will probably torpedo it if nothing else but hopefully the federal one can put a bullet

    even for women hating fetus-as-human laws this one is vague and terrible and at first glance violates federal law in addition to the constitution

    I think some of these "fetus-protection laws" or whatever you want to call them technically make it possible to put a woman on trial for the crime of miscarrying.

    Old news, now, I think. But it has happened.
