So much for "Riggin for Wiggins", huh Philly?

Great win though. Running up to 19-0 in the first quarter and then hanging around to actually win this? Great stuff.

Nene was injured in the Bullets season opener. A lot of people had Washington penciled in for a 6 or 7 seed but with the injury history of some of their key players I wouldn't be surprised if we saw them in the lottery again.

Probably better off in the lottery than grabbing a 7 or 8 seed and getting swept.

I'm not sure Nene is all that much of a loss though.

John Wall, Bradley Beal, Trevor Ariza, and Nene all missed 21 games or more last season. Fortunately though they did trade the already injured Okafor for Gortat a few months earlier than everyone expected.

they got an actual anchor, which they needed

    but yeah it's pretty great

i hope it doesn't become too simmons-centered (like in that "don't get fired" disclaimer thing), because the whole ensemble works pretty well together, and honestly jalen is the best one

What sub .500 teams from last year would you expect to make the playoffs?

Except Minnesota, they don't count since their best player was out all year and they could easily take LA's spot this year.

a lot of folks are high on the Pelicans, Wizards, Pistons, and Raptors

I think the Magic will be decent as well

of course injuries will probably cut this list in half

I really need another point guard. I'm not sure I can wait around for Rondo to take the entire year off anyway.

Watched the Cavaliers hand Minnesota their first loss last night at the Q (although they almost gave it away after leading by more than 20) but the most exciting thing was Andrew Bynum playing 18 and a half minutes of professional basketball

Psh, my team's not so good that I can stash a broken-ass Kobe on my bench until he's healthy, whenever that is. Someone else can waste a roster spot hoarding him if they want, I'm all about immediate gratification baby.

That being said my team's a fucking mess because I've only got 4 guards, whoooops
