The numbers for the regions released last Friday were 700,000, and of those, 250,000 came out of the UK, leaving 450,000 sold across Australia and New Zealand (Brazil has understandably sold zero consoles because of the $1800 asking price). This means that the North American units sold total roughly 1.4 million
I'll try to keep this thread updated with some PlayStation Plus info as well, in case any of you own PS3s/Vitas, and obviously we'll eventually get some PS4 stuff besides Resogun and Contrast

Important sales for NA people if you've been thinking about FFXIV - it's on sale for Plus members right now for $10, and anyone who has the PS3 version will get a free upgrade to the PS4 version when it launches in April. So, new PS4 MMO for $10.
Pretty stoked about getting a free FFXIV for my PS4. I thought it was fun, but the PS3 just could not do it justice so I didn't stick around after the trial. It should be amazing on the better hardware.
Psn is L4ST_L3VI4THAN I really liked the idea of giant sea monsters as a young man.
Speaking of sea beasts... Actually, Speaking of Sea Beasts is the name of my band in Rock Band 3. It was the third or fourth suggestion from the random name generator and it cracked me up just enough to keep it.
It is still looking good, but it was recently announced as a free to play game, and I've never played one of those, because my only PC is a laptop that cannot really run any games, and I'm kind of confused.
I'm super leery with any sort of presented convention footage, because I'm too paranoid and I wonder if it is faked-- if some guy is just messing with a controller while previously recorded stuff plays as a video, but Deep Down looks phenomenal from a purely visual point.
Destiny was just confirmed to have a September 9th, 2014 release date
A PS3/PS4 beta during the summer
That...is farther away than I thought it'd be
I'm kind of middling on Destiny as a whole - on the one hand I respect Halo but don't actually find them too fun to play, on the other hand I love their aesthetics and love Borderlands, so maybe?

Warframe is the cool new F2P game on the block
Rich and deep... give it a go
It didn't seem to do anything cool to set itself apart
