Don't clean your ear wax, it's supposed to stay in there to protect you from environmental hazards.
Don't wash your hair every day, you're stripping all the oils out. If you just stopped washing it would reach oil equilibrium and look great.
Don't wear anti-persperant it's full of aluminum compounds linked with heath issues including Alzheimer's.
Don't use dryer sheets they are poison.
Don't use a dryer at all, dry everything on a line. The burlap texture is a natural exfoliant.

Olive oil isn't exactly a hippie treatment. Qtips aren't recommended for cleaning ears anymore because they can push material further back, causing impacted wax buildups.
If you want an ear cleaning kit, ear drops are an extremely oily substance and olive oil is recommended as a substitute for them.
