I never did get the Dungeons and Dragons collection for Saturn.

But now it is on Xbox so rock on

every person who doesn't like an acquired taste always seems to think everyone who likes it is faking it. it should be an official fallacy.

the "no true scotch man" fallacy.

    How deep does this go?

With Scheck I'm guessing it goes all the way.

    Like...balls deep.

and kind of freed him of the curse of being "the guy who wrote Neuromancer and some other stuff"

of course I think Virtual Light and Idoru were terrific books too but like nobody ever has read them

yessss your taste is as always impeccable.

I love how ordinary virtual light is. like, the early chapters with Rydell just hanging out in LA and driving around felt so intensely real to me and reminded me of all these real things I have actually felt

like driving through weird isolated rich people bedroom communities and wondering what's going on behind closed doors in thsee places you will never ever get to afford to see

I've never actually read any Gibson...

People realized I've been with the company coming up on ten years. I suspect most of them will not make it 10 years.

Ours was a massive improvement over last years.

They fucked the coat check so badly last year. The line was about 2 hours long at the end of the night. They wound up having to send many of them down to the office the day after.
