They stopped supporting the BS1 and the A-10 on steam because it was transitioning to the new DCS World stuff and that was going to be super complicated. They've sorted it out mostly, but the third party modules (like the Huey) are still not up on steam because they're even more complicated, I imagine.
But yeah, they're talking with valve about how to go around passing their old keys in as steam activations.
IL2: CloD 4.99 at amazon. Price point I'm gonna try it at. Heh... was away from computer when you posted this. Watching them VRS repetitively trying to land on the rig was amusing. Kept looking at there VVI and quessing when they were gonna power up, get low rpm buzzer and hit the water:)

That was a mistake which has been corrected, the UH-1 Huey beta is back to 9.99 now. Picked that up and the full version of BS2 since it looks like ED isn't going to work out a way to transfer people who bought the upgrade to BS1 to BS2. That's kinda harsh but whatever, I got BS1 then the upgrade and now the full version all deeply discounted. I'm probably still getting off cheaper than full retail. And my key for P-51 Mustang transferred. I'm all aboard the Steam edition of DCS World now, or I will be once I'm done downloading and installing it heh.

Yeah, it chafes a bit but seasonal steam sales plus DCS World put me over the edge when I was weighing the pros and cons.
Plus there's the off chance that DCS World gets stuff like workshop support and so forth. That'd be pretty damn nice for getting instructional material, scenarios and stuff.
Just getting into this, had been flying the F-16C but just got the F-15SE, and waiting for my VKB evo nxt stick to get here! Anyone still active around here?
