I admire the way that despite your brush strokes being soft and loose, you still conveyed a hard shiny floor beneath. I'm guessing it's the color that sells it.
I love seeing your work in acrylic(?), and having it look exactly so much like your digital work - ridiculous. Every time I see you post or update the blog I get legit excited to paint, it's just inspiring.

That's the best compliment I could receive! Thank you for saying so. And yes, that was acrylics.
Here it is, @Siegfried ! I think I'm done working on this one. I could texture it all, but I'm losing too much patience and time on this!
Is this MGS Snake? Regardless, you channel that illustrative style spot-on.
Indeed it is! I have some album art coming up that employed Yoji Shinkawa's aesthetic, so I copied one of his images. It's very relaxing to brush-pen around and do something unusual like that.
Post more, man. You've gotta have some drawings piled up back there.
You still thinking about doing a comic?
Thanks, Iruka! Good to be back. By the end of 2013 I had over 200 unpublished sketches in Alchemy. I guess I could empty them here!
Also, I actually did some comic work over Christmas Break, but it's so gross and sketchy I don't know if I'd post it yet. Thank you for keeping me accountable, Friend. c:
Still doing the furry freelance thing as my most reliable demographic. But 2014 is the first year I started doing personal work. I'm not pulling any punches with subject matter, and deciding however sexual, dogmatic, or philosophical my subject matters I'm gonna share it anyway. Also got into Spectrum this year, so I'm hoping that'll bring some good connections, too!
Though I can feel how healthy comics are for me to create, I know I still need to hone my craft on paintings, especially if I want to enter a collector's market in fine art. Here's one of my more successful pieces from this year:
I wanted to find the perfect platform to release intimate and personal work—including some of my auto biographical comics!—and found this to be the perfect platform. Along with live Q&As, I'll also have .psd files for you to scrutinize my weird digital process. And if that wasn't enough, I'm offering lite mentorships for students and artists on tight money and time budgets!
This will be unlike any Patreon before it, so even if you decide not to donate, I hope you at least stick around for some curious art discussions. Thank you, friends!

Also, my show was short, quick, and fun. And now I can actually say I had a solo show, so that may be the best part!
And I did this one today, while watching Battle Royale and being distracted all over the place:

Glad to have you around though. You should make a resolution in the enrichment thread before I turn it over.

Awesome man, awesome. What have you been up to? I think if you get into a rythm of doing these you'll have something interesting!
So glad you are taking up the comics, keep doing it.

Grats on getting into spectrum, I hope it brings good things your way.
