Watching the Paralympics. Which is something you don't really get to do in the US unless the IOC basically forces NBC to broadcast it.

I don't mind saying I cringe just a bit harder when they crash in a way that the relevant disability clearly played a factor in.

I have a new soccer blog The Minnow Tank. Reading it psychically kicks Sepp Blatter in the bean bag.

I watched Grimm during season one. It was kind of hokey, maybe even saccharine, for a show with its premise. Has it grown more dark?

bathroom should probably be more accessible from the bridge seeing as how as a space captain you'd probably be spending most of your time there (also that watercooler cause fuck tha boss, you get paid salary)

    this episode involved
a horrifying phillipino baby-eating monster that looked like a chupacabra-gollum thing on steroids, with a long prehensile tongue full of sedative venom that it slid into pregnant women through their navels. it climbs up walls and comes through windows and makes a clicking sound as it crawls around. seeing it drove a man insane, and now he keeps hallucinating it.

the other plotline involved an undead witch baby with super creepy telekinetic powers.

i actually don't know if i'm going to sleep tonight.

There is something wrong with me.

I just spent an hour on facebook looking up people I knew from college, and getting really happy if 1) they got fat--especially if they rejected me--and really sad if 2) they have amazing jobs.

If that's true, I hope more of them lose their amazing jobs and get sad and fat, because right now the rates are not great.

it's still winter in the whole Northern Hemisphere! But as for the weather itself, I have no idea. The rapid changes have numbed me. On Monday, it was 20F (so like -7C) and snowing and icing everywhere. Today it was 65F (around 19C) and sunny.

I am at the point where I just throw open my front door in my boxers in the morning, proudly displaying my hairy gut to passing traffic, then close it and decide what to wear for the day based on the disposition of my nipples.

Yeah, we're bound to crack the 20°C ceiling today.
... and didn't have a real winter anyway.
