The new Bad Machinery book is pretty great. I didn't notice when reading it on the site but like nine small children are eaten alive and it is barely remarked upon. Authentic fairy tale gruesomeness, or lackadaisical storytelling?

We went to a new middle eastern place, and after chatting with the proprietors a bit they were like, here, have some samples, and then gave us several large take out containers full of free food (!)
Which is less impressive when you consider that they were closing and were probably going to throw the food out, but still
i could definitely not eat a medium dominos pizza by myself
Scrub tier fatty. At my most decadent I could eat an 18 incher solo
that is crazy. the standard size pizza in philly is 16" and typically i will eat three slices if i'm hungry. if i'm starving and don't mind feeling uncomfortably full i will eat four slices.
i ain't be making excuses for how i got fat but man. i wish in the course of getting this fat i'd at least been able to have twice as much delicious food! i do not have the big-guy appetite. thinking about eating a whole pizza is nauseating.

oh also the gluten free ones have like, the thinnest crust. a lot of the bread-y fillingness of a usual pizza is gone. probably enables eating more
