I'm now very excited for Final Crisis given the new solicit for GL #26
I believe that Johns said somewhere that Morrison at least partially came up with the idea of the "Alpha Lanterns" for use in Final Crisis. That probably means the story won't suck and will be as close as we will get to Morrison writing Green Lantern.
Yeah that might have been a little harsh. But you have to admit that #1-9 were pretty boring. It's been great since OYL.
The thing is, I don't have much faith in Johns to actually pull off any sort of a high concept story. I'm a little nervous about the end of the Sin Corps War, but I'm really expecting this whole "Rainbow Lantern" subplot to become a spectacular train wreck.
The concept for that Booster Gold story is... interesting.
Has the series been worth picking up thus far? I don't even know how many issues there have been.
There have been two issues so far. If you enjoy fun action comics with occasional moments of gravitas and poignancy, then try it out. It's better if you've read 52 though.

Johns' GL has been awesome
Which will no doubt involve multiple colored Lanterns.
Seriously though bring the fucking Corpse back in GL. I know they are getting a mini but it will probably just go unacknowledged.
On another note, I didn't even realize that the Red Son one shot is written by Alan Burnett. How can it fail?
