    Place Industrex at 2-1 connecting to the Naalu homeworld. Place A wormhole adjacent to Industrex at 2-12. Retroactively name the nameless empty space "Fleshly Bankruptcy" in honor of a great turn of phrase by the Nekro Virus.

    The south end looks pretty appetizing at the moment. If Yssaril is given room to expand things will go well for the goblins.

    Starting units have been placed in starting systems and Custodians of Mecatol Rex tokens have been placed at Mecatol Rex. The top card of the Public Objective deck has been flipped: [1 VP] I now spend 10 resources or 10 influence. 5 Stage I Objectives and 5 Stage II Objectives remain in the deck.

    Starting from the Naalu, each player may now select a Strategy Card. As this is the first round, there are no bonus counters.

    I should also note that we are not playing with Flagships in this game, though there are Mechanized Units. I wasn't planning on having the latter in the game, but since Nekro Virus starts with one and I didn't want to have to go back and re-roll a race, it made the most sense to just leave them in.

    Hey @jakobagger -- Let's talk about Saudor. The Xxcha view it as ours by right. We placed it there in an (unsuccessful) attempt to get something better near our homeworld. Obviously not our best move.

    Anyway, we're so planet-poor up in my end of the galaxy that I'm going to be totally uncompetitive without Saudor. If you take it, I'll have to do everything I can to get it back. You'll either lose it to me, or have to massively overspend to keep it. We both end up weaker fighting over a pretty marginal planet.

    Leave it to me and I'll consider that the limit of my southwesterly ambitions for the duration of the game.

    That sounds like a threat! As an opportunistic space pirate and mercenary, I respond a lot better to offers of compensation in trade goods than I do threats - in general.

    In this instance though I guess I can see your point. As long as we agree that Tequ'ran/Torkan and Perimeter are mine.
