A crackling boom announces the appearance of a smaller lightning blade and a shield apparently made of a thundercloud in Yancey's hands as the halfling enters the fight. The sword seems less-focused than the larger one he wielded in the earlier fight, with static charges clearly emitting from the blade and a shower of sparks falling all around it. He lashes out from beneath Talfryn and to one side at the nearby Brute, singing the creature but not making firm contact.
Editing in any possible changes in a minute. WEAPON damage is just the base, so 1d8 for a pretend 1h Martial from Weapon of Lightning, yes? Jesus, that's lousy. He takes my Wis mod, 4, since I missed. I've also got a manifested shield so +1 more AC for now.
At least I can keep making that attack and hope it works out better for the rest of the fight.

@TheRoadVirusBarthas is at 28/28 HP and full recoveries.
It takes a moment for Barthas to shake off the madness of the area, its energies momentarily drawing him into a sort of stunned silence. The scene suddenly becomes vivid --- Barthas' allies have already taken terrible wounds, and Farkas is at the brink of death!
"Alright --- let's get things back on track."
Minor action: Invocation of Healing --- I gain one additional use of heal. The first heal spell I cast allows the target to heal using a free recovery.
Move action as minor action: cure wounds --- inexplicably, the area is bathed in light as if the first beams of dawn finally broke through heavy clouds. Warmth fills the hearts of Barthas's allies as they catch a brief respite. @Grunt's GhostsFarkas can heal using a free recovery, with an additional +4 HP from my Healing Domain.
Standard action as minor action: heal ---@Grunt's GhostsFarkas can heal using a free recovery, with an additional +4 HP from my Healing Domain. If you roll great the first time or otherwise don't want the healing, let Clank roll it.
Done!

I have two more heals to cast this combat, and the recoveries can come from anyone in the group, so don't hold back if you're worried. You're kind of out there on your own at the moment. But whatever you want!

ESCALATION DIE IS NOW 1
It is now @Grunt's Ghosts turn again. I don't think anyone moved from where they were between Auralynx and now, so things are largely as they were. Please tag the next player in line after your turns!
Also, we have an extra heal floating around that was cast. Was it being used by Farkas or Clank?
Clank can have it as I'm about to back off from this brute.
The heal was just what Farkas needed. Farkas jumped up and stabbed the brute in the neck before flipping backwards towards the guards. "Next time, you kill me or don't bother at all."

The brute does not show pain. It does not really react.
A large gash appears across its neck and violet-blue light streams forth as the head lolls backwards floppily. After everyone's initial blindness wears off, it seems that Farkas has scurried away!
As he approaches the guards, he hears a panicked whisper. "Oy. You don't look like them. Well, not much. Well, you seem nice enough. My friend's in a bad way. We were supposed to bring the key out of 'ere. can you help us?"
A crit doubles your damage roll. So the brute is now at... 4/40 hp. @Kilroy is up next!
As the infected fall around him, Talfryn turns his attention to the brutes.
The Orcslayer cuts deep into the creature's shoulder, and it staggers beneath the weight of the blow.

As if reacting to Talfryn's blow, all the brutes begin moving simultaneously. The brutes by Farkas and Clank unleash vicious punches and connect solidly. There's a meaty THUD and a metallic CLANG as the blows connect. Talfryn is able to dodge the attack but catches some rock shards to the face from the impact on the floor.
Proof circles the brute Farkas took a chunk out of. He wants to get into headbutting range. Moving to engage Brute 2.
Loosing the stopper on his trusty flask, he allows his thirst for destruction to overtake him. The gnomish vodka burns on its way down. Proof grins again, and winds his head back. He adopts a wider stance as he launches his forehead into the body of meat that is the Brute next to him.

I ask you, does it not take greater skill to MISS with a headbutt when you are next to a hulking... hulk of crystal and flesh? Truly you have proven yourself!

Looks like I have some healing to do too. I'll update when I get home, but in the meantime, @jdarksun I think you still need to roll the heal that Clank got on my turn last round. Unless I missed it in my skimming.

Wait! I forgot to add the escalation die, so that attack roll should be a 12 and thus hits! (The +1 I remembered is from my gem.) So lots of damage for the brute. The after effects of spirits of the righteous:Whoever has the fewest hit points (I'm guessing @Grunt's Ghosts, even after the heal) gains a +4 bonus to AC until the end of my next turn.

Googled that. Looks even more like recycled art from Three Rings' Bang! Howdy from screenshots. Odd.

As Farkas strikes at his foe, a glowing light suffuses his person. Some more serious wounds knit themselves together quickly, leaving behind only a slowly fading scar with a blueish hue to it.
In much the same manner as the last, this brute also falls over. Its energy seemed to be pulled from it when it died. Where did the energy go, though?
Talfryn steps forward and ponders his next action.
