the sentient one turned out to be where an ultimate infinity gem was manifesting; the Anthony persona was just a side effect of having a reality bending artifact in his head.
Man the Captain America facebook page is full of people who are pissed about last night and getting turned away. Appearently, they gave away a bunch of VIP and press tickets and each event and those people filled a lot of seats, and in some places the theaters were overbooked 3 or 4 to 1. The whole thing was handled awfully. They did offer us tickets for another show...so my friends all voted to see Divergent. Guys Divergent is awful.

Honestly it's getting a pretty huge eyeroll from me. Like, the tickets plainly say they may have overbooked (however stupid that idea might be), and to arrive early. They also said no recording devices, including/especially mobile devices, and there were a lot of people freaking out that they couldn't bring their cell phones.
Ours was generally handled really well, though, even though a lot of people still got turned away.

How early did you get to your Tox? Like I said, we got to our like 2 hours early (my girlfriend had to work until 4) and some of the people who got turned away said they got there at 4 for a 7:30 showing. The guys at the front of the line said they got there when the theater opened and man, thats like, not feesable for most people.
Appearently in Orlando no one got to see it since they couldn't get the key to work for the movie. That realllllly sucks. At my theater it was handled really poorly. There was maybe 400 or so people there if not more total and the theater had 1 guy who was disabled handling all of us and there was no communication until 7:20pm.
Also they were shooting something in Chicago last night, we saw a production van from Buena Vista pictures and a bunch of trailers with names like "Cookie" and "Hakeem" and "Hakeem Stunt Double" on them. No idea what they were shooting though

We got there sometime between 5:30 and 6. Like I said, there were easily already 100 people there when we got there, and they mentioned there were a couple of dozen people who had been there since between 3 and 4. Which, yeah, I mean, that's not feasible for a lot of people, but, I mean....that's kinda how that works.
Like there's an article on Bleeding Cool where someone was bitching about how they weren't allowed to take their work laptop into the theater with them and it's like...right? What the fuck did you expect? They were wanding people and telling them that you could only even bring your phone with you if it had your ticket on it. Otherwise, you couldn't even bring it into the theater, and the ones with e-tickets had to bag 'n' tag after they showed their tickets.
But! This theater apparently gets these events pretty often, so they were reasonable well prepared. The theater's GM was inside working with the people setting it up, and had a staffer inside just sort of watching folks, and another dude outside running interference and trying to keep the crowd from being too much of an interference to the rest of the mall. And by 6:30-7 he was telling people they might want to rethink even waiting in line. Because he'd already counted close to 300 people in line, and the theater only sits 260ish, and there were going to be at least one full row worth of seats reserved for press.
So they were really cool, and the people running the event basically just showed up, said bag 'n' tag would only be available for people with e-tickets, wanded people as they came in, checked tickets (People with 'Unlimited' tickets got priority :fistshake:), and then did a raffle right before the movie started (which was closer to 8ish).
But I think our theater was only overbooked about 2 to 1, and I know ours was the last one to sell out of tickets.
Plus the Sam Humphires written Ultimates wasn't that great anyway but Anthony was a cool concept. Joshua Hale Fialkov most not have thought so since he pretty much got rid of "him" in his admittedly fun run afterwards.
I just cannot understand how so many people like that run. Even if you did like what it was doing I wouldn't describe it as fun.

So that What If? Age of Ultron mini hits next month and, luckily, each issue is its own story so you can pick and choose cause the Thor issue (where Ultron killed Thor early on and thus Ragnarok happens and reaches Earth) looks pretty rad:
That's Castle Doom, by the way

In a statement on her Facebook page that followed the announcement of Jon M. Chu’s upcoming film, Marx revealed that she was informed of the movie a few days before the announcement and spoke to Chu about it, but that “no one in the entertainment arm of Hasbro wanted to talk to me, have me write for it, or at the very least consult on it.”

It would be better if that pilot script didn't have someone point out he looks like a Penguin in literally every scene he is in.
Taylor's at least average height, maybe a bit taller. And Oswald Cobblepot is...not. and it's a pretty big part of his character.
Go away Mike
You are ruining Avengers for me

Well he's drawing Original Sin so I think he'll be off NA soon.
?
He hasn't been on New Avengers for a few issues. Simone Bianchi is the current artist and Valerio Schiti is up next.

Oh that's right.
This is pretty hilarious.

Hopefully he brings the good now that he's on the big event book.

But now I do.
Nothing needs to make it better. Antony was fun and perfectly comicbooky.
I don't think you need these friends anymore.
I have seen worse movies.
I have seen few dumber movies.
which is what it is
And I don't make that comparison lightly
It's just so stiff and out of place. It's a bad Alex Ross painting without his Norman Rockwell photographic realism to bring a sense of life to it
Once you realize that it's 3D models all you can see are dead-eyed statues! Straight up ruined that casino issue for me

The flying space convertible has I guess a force field instead of you know, putting the top up.
May you never stop looking stiff and awkward
Well that's pretty crappy of you there, Hasbro.
