    So I've made a buttload of progress in my new map. It's uh... pretty ridiculous.

    I've got tomorrow off though and I plan on working on it all day. Needs more ridiculous.

    But tonight I might try to finalize trainsawlaser_rc1 for testing. I have a mapping-related meeting during our usual wed-honc tonight, but depending on how long that goes maybe we could try it out after?

    So it has been officially determined:

    Drunk = good at mapping
    Overtired = good at mapping

    So what you're saying is that I'm currently winning at entities?

    It's really hard to not post a screenshot of what I did last night, because I really want to hear reactions when people see it live for the first time in game. It's not an OMG BEST THING EVER type deal so I don't want to over hype it, but I think it's pretty damn amusing and should get a few laughs.

    Maybe.. I need to finish the audio files. Which is just a matter of finding what I want and chopping them up as I have zero intentions of actually recording anything.

    But there's other gimmicks that I haven't even started that I want to add in.. those definitely won't be in by tomorrow so I might just wait until next week.

    Well just an FYI, if you want to make it loud enough to not suck, stack up 2-3 ambient_generics and just before playing it send them an AddOutput; message <file address>. Just make sure you have at least one ambient_generic on the map with that sound file so it caches.
