I went to dance class last night

Each class is theoretically 4 weeks long, 1 hour every Monday. There are two beginner classes. This was my third first day in a level 1 class, and it was all new stuff that moved fast! Wtf!

Every time I look at my lease renewal I cry a little bit more.

$1100 is a lot of money when you don't live in NYC.

Especially when mortgages here are like $500. Feels like they should be like washing my butt with liquid gold to keep me here or something.
Do you live in a bad ass house? I mean I pay over 1500 for rent, but the area I live in is expensive, and I'm not ever really concerned about getting stabbed in the morning walking to my car. Your in NY country which should mean you pay duck squat for rent. Maybe it's time to start looking up moving companies.

Nope, not bad ass at all. It's like "1300 square feet" (they're totally counting the basement as square footage, because it's 600 pushing it.

I'm actually pre-approved it's just a matter of waiting for my family's realtor to get back from vacation now. And hoping the trustee signs off on it since I'm still in a ch13.

I did the calcs, so long as I don't live in the retarded part of syracuse where the rich people live, my property tax will only be about 1500 a year, so on the full amount I'm pre-approved for worst case I'd pay like $900 a month. If I shifted to the high tax area it goes up to $1600 a month because loltaxes.

Seriously, I don't know why they think property tax should be 9,000 a year, that's insane.

It's hard to say if someone is particularly British, unless you're using it as a synonym for English (no one uses it as a synonym for Welsh, Scottish or Norn Ironish). I think of myself as English, certainly, and British some way after that.

Yeah, pink is a harder sell as a primary for us pale faces, but it can be a fine accent color, IMO.

Most of my best shirts that are non-standard colors tend towards faint pastels... like a pastel purple/lavender. That looks pretty baller on me.

I have a pink dress shirt and tie.

It is probably, without a doubt, the best shirt I own.

I also have a purple one that makes me look like the joker. I have no idea why I bought it.

A true Englishman is always happy to bear the burden of an angry, silent drunk as a father, because it means that deep inside a talkative, open man who is fond of hugs is being thankfully suppressed.

BOSTON (AP) — A Saudi Arabian man injured in last year’s Boston Marathon bombings has filed a defamation and slander lawsuit against conservative commentator Glenn Beck for allegedly saying on the air that the plaintiff was ‘‘the money man’’ behind the attack.

In the federal lawsuit filed Friday in Boston, plaintiff Abdulrahim Alharbi says as a result of Beck’s statements tying him to the bombings that killed three, Alharabi’s reputation has been ‘‘substantially and severely damaged.’’

The 20-year-old Alharabi, who attends college in the Boston area, says in his suit that he was injured in the bombings and questioned by authorities who even searched his apartment before determining that he had no connection to the crimes.

I want this to be real
Cloud 9 and TSM are about to debut the future of League of Legends, the Ultra Rapid Fire update. Set to go live this coming preseason, this massive update turns every match into a white knuckle thrill ride. Full patch notes are here, but here’s a hit list of the biggest changes.

Every champion begins the game with 80% cooldown reduction on abilities, activated items and summoner spells
Casting spells is fun, but running out of mana isn’t, so mana and energy costs have been removed
Marksmen could stand to dole out tons more damage, so attack speed bonuses for ranged champions have been doubled
Watch TSM and Cloud 9 strive to be the first pros to claim an Ultra Rapid Fire victory after today’s regularly scheduled LCS games. If you want to take your own shot at Ultra Rapid Fire glory, spin up a game now in a special queue that’s already live!

EDIT: by real I mean in LCS

British basically means the Union Jack and the island border, and then you remember Norn Iron and think oh well yes except that but that's very complicated and best left till later. It doesn't really have a cultural identity of its own that isn't there because people are using it as a synonym for English, and has rarely been celebrated as a thing in and of itself (aside from Danny Boyle's Olympic opening ceremony).
