    God, I hope the Avs do better this year

    Making the playoffs in a last-minute burst of decent playing after a season of lackluster effort and then getting steamrollered by the Ducks was frustrating as all hell

    And I guess I blocked last year out of my memory entirely. Didn't even make it to the playoffs. Whooops.

    In the season following the Flames' Cinderella run for the cup a friend of mine went to a Hitman game (Junior team that plays in the same place as the Flames) wearing his Tampa Bay jersey. During the game the camera that goes to the Jumbotron focused on him. He said there's nothing like hearing 8000 people boo all at once. :P

    So I was looking for the TV schedule for the Canucks for this year. Thanks to sportsnet having all most of the games the HD content will be foul.

    TSN + CBC do HD but that's only 18 games.
    PPV games are still non HD from what I can see
    Sportsnet has an agreement to do like 95 HD broadcasts over the next 4 years. So basically we're still fucked because they have shit for HD broadcasting still.
