Here's what I wound up with at the end of day 1:

I'm trying to plan out the most efficient way to get the merch pins.
East sets were $30.

When you enter the convention center, the level 1 merch booth is right in front of you, so it's possible to get in line for that one immediately. They also started selling stuff early, i think it was around 9:00.
If you're heading to the expo hall merch booth, you're going to have to wait in the queue line, til 10 I think. The plus side is that you're already in the expo hall, and can immediately go after other pins.
As far as I know, the anniversary pins were split between the booths. The level 1 booth sold out first, but I think that's because they went on sale earlier.
I arrived at around 7:30 and was around 10th in line at the level 1 merch booth. It would have been worse if I had brought a bag and had to go through the bag check line.

Is this the first year they've replaced the PAX logo magnet with the (I'm assuming) East logo?
Mot if you get a few of those in your pin buying I'd like a set (well, just the East logo one, but watevs).

I'm actually logging a full day since I'm doing a Magic-themed comedy show at Laugh Boston next to the convention center at 6. You guys should come. It might be one last chance for some end of day trading.
