I don't think UWx control is gonna run Deicide when they have Detention Sphere.
Don't they already run Revoke Existance? At least out of the board? Given the fact that there aren't many artifacts of note running around (except Pithing Needle), isn't Deicide better in the current environment?
Edit: I mean... they run Revoke in the mirror for opposing DSpheres, right? You replace that with Deicide and now your sideboard card for the mirror is also nasty against MonoU and any new God decks that pop up (like the much ballyhooed Atheos Humans)
Brave the elements or renounce the guilds would help there. The idea is that before they draw their two of you would get value out of your four of. Always assuming that they have their silver bullet waiting just makes games seem impossible.

I don't think there is much chance of a heroic deck that doesn't play strings and the black heroic decks I've seen wouldn't really want this guy I think. He does seem like a potential one or two in the rogue American heroes de k which is already pretty good and also got the blue two drop everyone went crazy for earlier.

athena repeatedly had issues with punishing rape victims, probably given she was a reflection of the ideals of the time
much of the "grrl power" she has are things we ascribed to her later

Let's say there's a DSphere on the table, removing oh say your Jace. You then cast Banishing Light on the DSphere. You get your Jace back! Yay!
later, Opponent casts Deicide/Revoke Existance on your Light.
DSphere comes back in play. Does it automatically reattach to Jace? Or does its Controller get to pick new targets (say an Elspeth)?
