It's pretty goofy, but I understand the intent behind it and don't mind. Venom's gonna be in the FCBD issue and will likely get more exposure in Guardians than he ever did in his solo book, and to people who don't know about him the normal Agent Venom costume looks a lot like black-suited Spider-Man with guns.
Giving him the mouth makes him more distinctly "Venom".
Considering the implication there is that she's the same age as Peter - and that we're taking the teaser literally at all - I dunno why we're calling her Spider-Girl
To be fair the first spider woman is still around avengering
And the one that did actually show up in spider-man had a seizure or something before doc ock took over, and we still haven't seen what has happened with her
