I guess there aren't any fans of The Triangle? Starring Luke Perry and Dan Cortese.
Its The Shining meets Nickelodeon's "Are You Afraid of the Dark."

So, BSG pretty much got passed over in the Emmys, losing both Writing and Directing awards to The Sopranos. However, they did win one award - Visual Effects for a Series. Anyone care to guess which episode they won this award for? ;-)
Well Moore did say that if they got shafted in the Effects category again he would personally kill the fuckers. That might have had something to do with it.
You know... I always meant to catch the Hercules movie... the one with Sean Astin, etc for a while, just because I wanted to see this epic.
It was finally on this past weekend, and it was garbage. I ended up FF through most of it, but what the hell did they blur out during the 'chick in water' scene? Didn't sci fi originally make this movie ? Are we afraid of water cleavage now ?
Man it's been ages since I've seen the original Hercules made for TV movies. I recall them being pretty decent for what they were, if not schlocky. Anything with Tawny Kitaen is a plus! Anthony Quinn was pretty hilarious as a choice for Zeus.

They are still immensely entertaining. You just have to not be snooty.
I got so excited when I first glanced at it, because I thought it was a DVD boxset at first.
Ah, that explains what I heard over the intercom today when I picked up Dexter in the Dark. It came on right as I was walking out the door so the only thing I heard was "Battlestar Galactica" and I thought it would seem a little odd to run back in just to see what it was about.
Strange that they have a release date for the Pegasus 'movie' (December 4), but not Season 3.

Hm, they didn't blur out the scene where the Amazons were getting dressed to 'attack' the village of their estranged partners to in pregnant them for more man-hating babies for their nation...
^ Lucy Lawless with Anthony Quinn. They never once brought up that if Zeus got her pregnant, Hippolyta's second in command would be giving birth to a demi-God. But its TV so nevermind. The first telemovie "Hercules and the Amazon Women" was alright, and its actually the movies that were a lot better than the series that followed. And Kevin Sorbo's acting was better too. And I don't give compliments to that man.

Some useless trivia -
Roma Downey, who played Hippolyta, was one of the runner ups to play "Xena" in the Hercules series, along with Vanessa Angel and Melinda Clarke. Lucy Lawless played Hippolyta's second in command. Roma Downey did not take the Xena role, neither did Vanessa Angel and the other actresses in line because they were either; sick at the time [Angel] or did not feel committed to do a series all the way in New Zealand. So then Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert casted Lucy Lawless, who despite being on the show 3 times as different characters, dyed her hair black to make her unrecognizable. Melinda Clarke ended up playing 'Velasca' (an amazon turned God) on the Xena series in the second season. Rob Tapert ended up marrying Lucy Lawless late season three into the show. Sam Raimi's brother Ted Raimi, who played Joxer in Xena, plays Hoffman in the Spider-Man films...with reoccurring cameos by Bruce Campbell who played Autolycus in both Hercules and Xena, whom baby sat Ted Raimi in his youth along side Sam and Rob [Tapert] whom collaborated to make the Evil Dead movies, which were produced by Joseph LoDuca, who later composed the scores for both Hercules and Xena...
yeah I never got the Xena thing either. But then again, I'm biased against the whole swords and sorcery genre.
But hey, you can't deny she's a stunner in BSG
Eh, she's no racetrack.
Fix'd.

In looking up the various female pilots in BSG... it turns out that all of them seem to love to take their clothes off in movies. I find this enjoyable.

I'm pretty sure that's a requirement for less known actresses to get parts when they need work.
Not that I mind ;-)

Yes, its awful and campier than Hercules. Why does Sci-Fi promote much shit?
I believe this was covered earlier. The 99% trash subsidies the 1% of good. Good TV doesn't pull in nearly as much money from ad dollars as crap does.
Edit: Wait, I mentioned that in another thread.
hercules was awesome what the fuck are you talking about.
Hurcules was ok.
Apparently people who kinda enjoyed the first one (like my father) like the new one, but I thought it was strictly disappointing.

The first 1/2 was ok.. then I realized they blew the fx budget in the first 2 hrs.. so the rest was cheesy

Regardless, the answer is end of the year/beginning of next. That's been known since season three ended.
So am I the only Racetrack-er here? (Safe link, goes to IMDB headshot.)
Edit: Hey wait, she was in Blood Angels...I just got that movie off Netflix a few weeks back. Time to actually watch it!
