So, the lady behind The Punchline is Machismo has just launched a new webcomic called Platinum Black. Apparently it's gonna have a lot of guts in it. The first page has guts in it, but since they aren't super bloody or anything, I thought that I would put them behind a spoiler, rather than simply not post it.
Eh, I played the future one and it felt like running in a hamster wheel. I'd get more population, so I'd need more resources, and when I got more resources I'd need more people, and it seemed like I was building an awful lot of stuff without making any real progress.
Basically Anno is less a city management game and more about creating a massive, clunky, lurching machine of industry to feed your desire for a very pretty city. The game is 100% about logistics and trade. There's little to do with politics or culture and the military component is rubbish.
I adore 2070 though. If they added a sequel that built on the whole interconnected meta-game idea a whole bunch I don't think I'd need another management game ever.
EDIT: Either that or a Startopia sequel. Just I have slightly more faith in Anno 3060 actually maybe existing.

The Tales may be my favorite part of Order of Tales, and I have a lot of favorite parts of Order of Tales.
My love for Tales is how it all comes together and everything we saw in this crazy world actually makes sense and was logical. Except for a certain character with a knife being a dick, that made no sense.
Derelict is a comic about life in the middle of the ocean. I am obliged to warn you about it.
