Corey "Rey" Lewis is working on a zombie comic, titled Dead in the Now. A preview can be found on his live journal. It looks pretty neat, but I wish he would limit his assignments so he finishes something.
God, I wish these creators would lay off zombie comics for a while.
...because otherwise this zombie apocalypse comic/novel story I've been slowly developing will get lost in the shuffle.

Also, with the Gauntlet out of commission, just wait until you meet Camp Hammond's new Drill Instructor... he's a real Taskmaster!

I am definitely gonna pick up Countdown to Mystery. I'm really getting into the magic side of the DCU. I'm also a huge fan of Gerber's 70s Howard the Duck stuff, but didn't like the more recent MAX miniseries as much. This is the first time I've heard of a new one, I hope its good.

seriously
that fucker needs to finish Sharknife 2
then get some Pinapl in the can
then he can fucking worry about this one
What is this Pinapl thing? Some of Corey's journal posts talks about the guy in this PINAPL thing like he has been around, maybe already in an OGN or something; and I am confused.
Click the "What might have been," in my sig dude. My man-crush on Norton is no secret. But I also like him because he's got a nice, clean style, can draw a lot of different faces and body types (good for a team book), does good action moments, and he's an extremely reliable artist.
I'd just like to see someone on JLA with a style that's kind of a cross between classic and modern, and guys like Sprouse, Norton, and Jamal Igle would all be cool for that kind of thing, they're all pretty reliable, and they wouldn't make the book look like some Jim Lee era Image throwback.

In Booster Gold they are going to rescue Ted, only to have him die immediately in the next issue. At the end will be a big note saying " Ha Ha Fuck your Dreams, Munch."

All I know Igle from is Nightwing and that doesn't look like it'd fit JLA

Since it's obviously no one in the actual jail-cell, who gave Gauntlet the beating he deserved? Personally, I think it's whichever one of the Initiative that's the New New Warriors contact.

It's just for the double-sized first issue.

I'm on it, despite how broke ass I'm going to be when I go back to school here in a few weeks.
CBR Feature on PINAPL
Is this Corey stuff thread-worthy? I think it is all pretty far off, like 2008 or something.
Ha! The numbers grow.

Not feeling the artwork. It's better than Benes, but still. Grodd looks fucked up
I'd love to see someone like Chris Sprouse or Mike Norton on it.
