I'm hoping this is due to Charlie Brooker:

Hopefully for Sniper Elite V3 there'll be an even more comprehensive kill sequence in which, after an even more explicit close-up of the bullet boring a path through some Nazi intestine, the camera hurtles to the other side of the world and shows his sweetheart's expression as she receives a telegram announcing his death. And then it shows his crestfallen kids being told daddy won't be home for Christmas. And then the camera follows them through their entire lives, in real-time, depicting them growing up despondent and angry and unfulfilled, and eventually all killing themselves in atrocious ways on the 50th anniversary of pop's murder. And then the camera whizzes back through time, back to the battlefield, back to the point where you're about to pull the trigger. Just so you can pull it again.
He, due to this confession, now features in downloadable content in SE3:

Yeah, yeah, spend six hours watching a family being torn apart and crumble due to the violent death by an American sniper. Or just press space bar, wipe your conscience clean and snipe the next German soldier who has come over to look at his friends corpse :)

Something about the shading and coloring has been super crisp in the last week of comics. I'm digging it.

I hear they're releasing DLC where you also get to follow the life of the ammunition manufacturing worker who made your bullet and the whole process of how it went from his hands into your rifle. Harrowing.

Yeah, one of the most evocative opening sequences to a movie I've seen. It's a shame that the actual movie sucked (Lord of War).

I rather liked the movie, actually. The dark comedy style suits Nicolas Cage's talents without him having to descend into self-parody Crazy Cage™.

I did think the movie suited Nick Cage and his particular talents. I just didn't like it (except for that amazing opening sequence).

    Reading the new post:

Just FYI, there's a setting in the Options screen for Killcam frequency.

You still can't see each others, but you can make yours trigger constantly.

I think they missed a real opportunity here for a "The Place Beyond the Snipes" pun.

Perhaps in your native country. But in the US it was Lord of War.

There's a lot of regional variations on movie names throughout the world. For example, Ghostbusters (in the US) is S.O.S. fantômes in France.

I speak none of these languages (except English), but this list still looks like most of them are Man/Lord of War/Death.

I believe he was referencing/quoting the film:
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0399295/quotes
Andre Baptiste Sr.: They say that I am the lord of war, but perhaps it is you.
Yuri Orlov: I believe it's "warlord."
Andre Baptiste Sr.: Thank you, but I prefer it my way.

Yeah, I didn't get that either.
