I thought for a second I could stock up this weekend and finally make some real money. Not that I'm broke, but once I get my job up to 50 I'll probably start blowing through my savings rather quickly.
I think the best way we can help everyone's chocobo is to start getting the whole FC on board with tending/fertilizing the garden every hour. If you do it every hour, you'll get more garden food, it's just a matter of people taking out some playtime to help out.

Huh, all the shortsword/dagger weapons for GLD/PLD are being renamed and remodeled come 2.3, presumably so Thieves can use the dagger models for their own weapons.

Botany is how we'll get the seeds but honestly the real value will be in the gardening results not so much in the seeds I would wager.
