Also, which of those is the Kitty we are supposed to search?
Is there some kind of economy of kitties going on?
Can we assume the next couple comics not to have any kitties in them?
Or are the extra kitties to get back on track for the first few comics which didn't yet feature kitties?
I have never written so many sentences featuring the word "kitty" in direct succession to each other.

a-ha, I know! Purdy and 'Molbert' are the same person; it's so clear:
he knows wooods - the lumber, she - the locale
he tracks - the days of our lives*, she - the fauna.
he knows the woebegone weasel from... um, ok, I'm stuck on this one; I'll put it down as a sunburned herring.
I'm gonna search the archives now to see if we ever see 'Molbert' step into an outhouse and she steps out as the superhero, Purdy (after a quick wardrobe change).
*you might be old if you get this reference without googling it.
I laughed way too hard at that reveal!
