    I had this happen during my WoW days. At the end of a long explanation of heroic Lich King, one of our main tank healers comes on vent commenting about the epicness of his dump. "How... How long were you afk?" "Oh, I just cut out when we were done with blood queen, I didn't need any loot. So, LK guys, right? Never seen this fight, what do I need to know?"

    And some of us wondered why our guild leader drank.

    I liked it until the last panel... no one I've ever raided with admits they were just in the bathroom. Personally, when I return from dropping a duece, I say... "Sorry, I was grabbing a Dew," which in hindsight, might sound even worse... hrm.

    Here's what the next lines would be IRL (Normal/Heroic):

    "Yeah, plenty...that's why we're benching you so you can watch a strat vid."
    "But I need loot off this boss."
    "Yeah, and we need you NOT AFK during strat explanations."

    Here's what the next lines would be IRL (LFR):
    "Adds> Boss. Burn Soulbleeders when they pop"
    "DERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!"

    It's funny. Gabe used to complain about how hostile MOBA communities are.
    It's exactly the same for hardcore raiders who have people who don't/won't learn how to do them properly. You end up wiping/wasting a lot of time because people don't know what they're doing. Similarly, new players at MOBAs are highly detrimental to a team that requires know-how and coordination. Imagine an hour of your life taken from your hands - you had no say in your loss.

    Granted, the learning curve of an MMO is intended to build you to that degree of raid-stomping-hardcoreness, while a MOBA is hard-as-is, but it's the same principle. You feel the rage. The rage at the newbs.

    You really should read them, their WoW comics are excellent and pretty much all of them are favorites of mine.

    It's adorable thinking that they are just discovering this now. :D

    The inspiration behind writing more MMO comics lately is probably their recent addiction to Wildstar.

    Sure? Or they were before if this is a new experience for them. That shouldn't be surprising because they've basically come out and said that's how they approach most games (breadth over depth).
