It has it's ups and downs. I liked Court of Owls quite a bit up until the last issue. Snyder's biggest problem with his New 52 stuff has been sticking the landings of his stories. I thought he finally broke that trend with Zero Year, though. The last issue of Zero Year was actually one of my favorites of the whole series, and Zero Year itself was a lot better than I was expecting. The Dark City mini arc was a real highlight for me, especially the bookend issues. #24 is an all-time favorite, and is the type of story I wish Snyder would write more of. Guy can be a real wordy dude.
