what is the deal with beans and chili

like, why is it considered such a dread combination

yeah if anything it's the addition of beef which is a bit odd. Tomatoes and most of the kinds of beans used in chili are native to the Americas. Beef sure isn't. A chili using dog or bison would be better in that regard.

Someone actually said the US is better off than the UK, Canada or Australia because the right isn't in power in the US?

Someone needs to think about where the political spectrum lies in those three countries.

There USED to be a Taco Bell in the neighborhood I live in now. It closed down years before moved here.

It was by far the worst Taco Bell I have ever been to. Consistently. We would always go in thinking, "Last time was just a fluke, it'll be fine THIS time!"

    And we were wrong.

    Every. Single. Time.

Also, there were always crack dealers outside when I went there.

Come to PAX East, meet me in person.

They say shaking my hand fills you with existential terror as you are slowly contaminated from being contact with me. i don't know if it's true, though. LOL.

When I say "have money", I mean have a couple hundred bucks that I could have bought tickets with and then travelled back home

Not so much the kind of have money where I can fly across the country and get a hotel room unfortunately

Unless I can get a coffee at the same time, then it's whatever

I ain't there for the food, but I do need calories so yeah put it in my mouth, I'll eat it

'Cause 2.5 hours is the point where you have to stop and take a pee, maybe do some jumping jacks so you don't fall asleep while you're driving

And that brief pause gives you a chance to think

And thinking does not lend itself well to responding to a long-distance booty call

See the answer for me is "0"

They have to come to ME, or NO DEAL.

They also must have cab money for after, in case I decide I don't want them to stay.

Also, none of this is true. I am just making shit up, which means it is time for a PC break.

But I don't like the sheer number of jokes I can't tell anymore when I'm not fat

Speaking of fast food I want to go to Dairy Queen and get some ice cream cause I'm craving sweets but my sister won't go with me

I asked her why and she started listing all the things she had eaten in the last 24 hours

I made the executive decision that she had had enough

But I don't wanna get ice cream alone :(

    Well...

While it's true that the right is obviously super damaging to politics itself in America, we were at least able to avoid implementing full blown austerity in the aftermath of the financial crisis like some countries in Europe were forced to do by their conservative governments.

So in some respects we're better off.

But on the other hand it's like... oh no, you reduced funding for the totally still there national healthcare system... which probably softens the blow.
