That car joke may need to be modernized so that the Chevrolet driver survives because his car gets recalled midway through the collision.

i thought toyota was the butt of the recall jokes these days?

    It rotates.
Right now GM in general is the target.

    Bless your heart.

Nah we're done with that, now that US automaker bailouts don't need to be justified.

someday you'll come to the same conclusion we did and realize it isn't worth it shovel good money after bad for a failing domestic auto industry

You joke, but one of the things I do love about hanging out around here is that our little community has actually accrued a good number of actual experts on things and it's neat to be able to talk to them whenever about such stuff.

This apartment has only two flaws: (1) it has a single bathroom, (2) it takes like half an hour to get from the kitchen to the living room.

Oh, and also the drier has to run for like a day to get actually dry anything, but that's just the price you pay for having an in-unit.

If you're around a lot of rednecks, Ford is the butt of all jokes apparently.

I remember asking the maintenance guy at my old apartment to help me get out of a parking spot after we had just gotten his big Toyota Tundra out of his spot. He just laughed and remarked about how if we get it out I'll just get stuck in another few feet because it's a ford and it can't do shit.

So he pushed me out and away I went.

I came back home and he was stuck exactly where I left him. Apparently he tried to gun it and just wedged himself deeper and deeper into the snow.

I hope that wiped the smirk off his face after I drove away and he was stuck there all day.

not a doctor, not a lawyer, examples I use may not be fully researched so don't take out of context plz, don't @ me

this is like that scene in a movie where some guy gets injured and everyone looks to this one person and is all "You're a doctor! Fix him!" and the doctor is all "...but I am a pediatrician! This man needs a surgeon!" and then somebody grabs the doctor by the shoulders and shakes them and is all "YOU'RE ALL WE'VE GOT. NOW GET IT TOGETHER AND HELP HIM." and the doctor steels himself and gets to work with strips of t-shirt and a bic pen and a needle and thread
