    Was at Best Buy with the lady getting her ipad so I went to the game section.

    Went to the xbone demo unit and there was a MS rep there, explained he was a paid MS employee

    Said that ALL Xbone games are 1080p and 60fps minimum, and that ONLY with xbox one and xbox live (not the ps4) do I get two free games per month.

    I wasnt going to nerd out on him but I did walk away surprised that he lied like that.

    i mean, I'm pretty sure PS+ gives you more than 2 free games per month, so, y'know, only Microsoft is too cheap to match Sony.

    People lie to sell stuff all the time.

    The 60fps thing is a lie for sure, but there is a good technicality on the 1080p thing that both modern consoles make use of, in that all of the games scale up to whatever resolution your TV has, up to 1080p.

    Like, Killzone being 960p or something, some launch titles being 720p... but all games "look like" 1080p to the television.

    It's all silly. The games look fucking beautiful on both systems. Numbers are dumb.

    I feel like my enjoyment of television with the forum folks always goes wildly south whenever a show ends. I don't need the finale to carry weight or meaning for me. I just need it to end the show.

    I watched it eating dinner last night with the latest episode.

    I am not sure if that makes me crazy or have a stomach of iron.

    Did a half hour of the scales game in Rocksmith 2014

    About a couple weeks ago I played it a little bit for a mission (the game gives you little missions to explore the practice games/lessons/session mode/amp+pedals setup etc.) and could not get past the first level even after trying a half dozen times.

    Have spent literally no time in it since but managed to get far enough this time that I unlocked multiple additional levels and could have gotten further but I wanted to play some actual songs. Apparently just blundering through songs has been productive!

    (although I should really spend more time on scales anyways)
