I wish I had had someone to consistently play Torchlight 2 with. I really liked it. But I can't play ARPGs long solo without getting tremendously bored.

Mmm, Burger King buying that Canadian burger place is one thing but they're planning to move their HQ to Canada for tax reasons, too. America won't be home of the Whopper anymore. :(

It's the only time I have ever done that!

And I was just too impatient, and the place I got my check cashed was where I spent it: the grocery store!

I'm sure we'll continue to give them ludicrous tax breaks, though, because Merica.

Burger king is fleeing to the ultraconservative tax haven known as Canada because of Obama's socialist anti-corporate practices. If he were alive today, Mitt would be proud.

I used to have one when I was younger. Not one of the coral lookalikes like that one but one of the regular black ones. Very chill snakies.

    Yes!

I would not be functional without a hoodie.

They are just necessary. You should always keep one nearby, for just in case moments.

Batesian mimicry might be my favorite red queen race. Whereas Müllerian mimicry is stable in that it's beneficial for both species to look like each other, because they can benefit from each other training predators not to eat them, the poisonous species that has a Batesian mimic wants to evolve away from the other, since it increases the number of them being eaten. Not a ton, but it's still selective pressure.

Harper cut it from 28% to 15% federally. The weird thing about this deal is that there isn't an escape clause. Which means if the tax rate goes back up which doesn't seem like an unrealistic thing for Canada, then BK is stuck.

It's just a different tax structure. Canada's highest income corporate tax rate is lower than America's highest corporate income tax rate. That doesn't mean all Canadian companies or American companies are actual paying that rate. There are all kinds of other taxes and subsidies and loopholes thrown in.

That's where my joke from above came from. In 2012, Romney tried portraying Canada as this glorious beacon of conservatism purely because of tax rate, and it was all complete bullshit.
