yes, they were talking about doing late post-production on book 4 while 3 was airing but I don't think anyone expected it this soon

I mean, especially in seasons 1 and 2 Korra could be a jerk, but she's always a jock.

I watched the 2part finale of Book 3 with a friend
As soon as she saw Korra in a wheelchair, she yelled "WATERBENDER LEGS. DO IT."
i mean the final fight was awesome and i like the fallout of it
but Zaheer, like Amon, was a really interesting villain on an abstract level, and reducing the philosophical conflict between him and korra into a fist fight just seemed kinda... anticlimactic

I can understand being put off by zaheer's philosophical devolution into a less interesting "rah rah evil" character, but being put off that it ended in a fight is a bit unexpected.

like random example, The Dark Knight is about a philosophical argument between batman and the joker
and even though there's a big action scene during the climax, the movie makes a point of framing that action scene in the context of that argument. Batman doesn't just win because he punches the joker real good, he wins because he won the argument.
