In Mega City One, Judges that achieve the impossible feat of reaching old age have two options: Teaching at the Academy, or the Long Walk.

    Lawgivers can be set either with a switch or voice activated.

    But I do like the aesthetics of the Dredd Lawgiver over the comic.

    I felt really bad in that one story where a boy with Pyrokinetic powers is coerced into using his powers by two Juve Creeps under threat of being reported to he Judges and things snowball into a downer ending.

    Now I want to make a Papers Pleasesque game where the twist is that you find out it's actually measuring performance in multiplayer and it determines the faith of your giant spaceship, that you never really see do anything cool because all you are doing is tuning flux capacitators and balancing power nodes with colorcoded isolinear chips.

    Basically, she can be a decent writer if she has an editor, but nine times out of ten she's a hack writer who refuses to research the universes she writes in and has a thing for fixating on a complex moral issue, trying to paint it as black and white, wanking all over whichever side she likes more, and generally making a shitty soapbox of a book.
