Pulling this topic out of general chat, as it deserves it's own thread.

So here's the deal. I can and will be attending this event. If you would like my assistance in obtaining one, please PM me before 3pm PST. We will discuss the details there.

I was too late in the line. They had 50 for sale aside from the 30 for free. Supposedly only 80 were made according to the naughty dog rep. Can anyone else confirm?

There's no way, even PA said that 300 was the absolute minimum for a run in general, and I'm pretty sure that's for in house stuff only.

Sony people have been all over the map with Pinny Arcade. Back at PAX East I was told that Sony was trading pins for charity, but another pal said he was told that the employees were free to do what they wanted with their pins.

After PA delivers the pins though, I guess a vendor can do whatever they want with the pins.

Maybe this is what they were referring to when they said you won't be able to collect all of the pins. Here's a surprise fucking pin that is being doled out at an event no one can go to with a low ass run. Swell.

Ok, here's the good the bad and the ugly in reverse order:

The Bad: There only had 50 for sale

The Ugly: Limit ONE per person. Ugh.

The Good: When asked about if they plan to sell them online, the response was "keep an eye on store, your friends should be fine"

So there you have it. You guys will be able to buy them online, just need to play the waiting game.

For all of you who PayPal'd for me to proxy purchase, I'll do the refunds as soon as I get home. Their Mobil app doesn't have that functionality.

Ok, all the refunds should be done.

Yes, I got one for myself, there were less than 10 in the bin by the time I got up there.

As for which store, he gave me the impression that they will be launching a Naughty Dog gear store very soon, which is where they plan to sell their own branded Merch. But it was loud and he was very busy.

I walk away from my computer for one damn weekend...

This makes me wish there was some kind of Pin Pal Alert system that sent an email or a tweet or something as soon as new pin news is announced/discovered. I'm usually on top of things just checking the forums but if nothing buzzes or beeps at me, sometimes I forget.

Not that it would have mattered this time, but it could, someday! And that fills me with anxiety.

I've just join the forums and I have a question. How rare is this NaughtyDog 30th anniversary pin? I mean $50 seems so cheap for a pin that there is only 80 of it. I got the order 1886 pin for $50 on ebay

As far as we're aware, only 80 are in circulation. We speculate (and hope) that there are at least 1000 (since its a 3rd party pin).

Most of us are waiting for the Naughty Dog online store to launch, as it has been hinted that the remaining pins will likely to be sold from there.

Yeah it hasn't been confirmed as limited to 80 print, heck we didn't even know this one was on its way... How do we all feel about the surprise pin being so underwraps :S

Bit hard to say atm for the Naughty Dog pin as we still dont know where/when/if the rest will be sold.

I too bought my Order 1886 pin for $50 on ebay, seems about right.
