I saw him from some of the episodes in JLU in the last season and I know that in Batman: Beyond, a gang was based on him (why would hoodlums mimic a member of the JL, I don't know). I would like to know more about this hero and can't find any links, please inform the peon.

    Wow, that's really obscure.

Knowing the DCAU that could be a Mr. Terrific-based gang, or it could just be something they came up with off the tops of their heads.

I know that in the Joyride episode the T's were who the gang attacked first and that Batman shock down Boss T in another episode I cannot remember. Thanks for the info.

I remember that too, though I never made the connection.

I don't think that gang was supposed to be based on Mr. Terrific. Unfortunately since the episode isn't on DVD yet, I can't even find a good shot of the gang.

Maybe I should ask Paul Dini?

    These guys?

They don't really seem all that terrific in Joyride, so I doubt their relation to Mr. Terrific.

If Mr. Terrible's powers include getting thrown across the room and kneed in the chest real good, then yes.

Yeah, I think his power actually is being really terrible in a fight.

I'm not sure that version of Mr. Terrific had even been created when Batman Beyond was made, and it's unlikely that a gang of troublemakers would base themselves on a superhero. Also, none of the gang members in the picture showed here are wearing blackface like Mr. Terrific does.

The black paint that Mr. Terrific wears to make the T on his face? I'm only calling it that because I've been told that's what it is by people who know more about these things than I do. If I'm wrong, okay.

Yeah, I can't find it where I thought they talked about it, just in a lot of other blogs I read. Poor choice of words, obviously, on my part.

It's a mask that's molecularly bonded to his face. It allows him to control the T-spheres with subtle facial expressions.
