At the nexus of the universe, in the epicenter of the multiverse, one man stands alone -- Sean Bean. Existing in all universes simultaneously, Sean Bean is the lynchpin around which the dimensions spin. All things revolve around Sean Bean. But this synchronous existence stretches his Bean-ness too far. To escape this constant state of shallowness Sean seeks to meet his end thus making himself whole once more - a Bean-gularity. All Beans in all dimensions eventually, inexplicably, and inevitably meet their ends in typically gruesome fashion as though drawn toward this end by fate. If a few Beans can resist the pull of the Hand of Destiny, they can go on to great reward in Hollywood films where they can continually sate that death impulse on camera. Should all Beans meet their end the multiverse will collapse in the Bean-gularity.

What is phalla?
Phalla is the PA Forums version of the popular party game, Mafia. General phalla rules can be found here.
Standard Phalla Rules
You must vote each day. Vote in !bold red for whomever you think is likely to be a threat to you. The winner of the vote will be eliminated every night.
In addition, everyone should make at least two posts each day. Failure to vote or contribute will lead to warning and replacement. If no replacement is found, the Bean-gularity will devour you and remove you from the game.
Do not directly quote anything from PMs with me, or take screenshots of them. It is okay to paraphrase role PMs however.
Do not add a player(s) to an already existing PM conversation.
Do not anonymously contact anyone.
When you die you may make one ghost post which cannot contain any game information whatsoever. After that please do not discuss the game with anyone still alive. Make a reference to or quoting a line from one of his Bean-liness' movies will earn bonus points for your team.
Bonus points will not affect the victory conditions of the game, any in-game mechanisms, and/or results.
Ask for clarifications in !bold darkorange. You can always PM me with clarification requests, or post them directly in the thread.
Make sure you invite me to any PMs or proboards you might form.

Upon signing up, you must PM with the destined way inwhich your Bean is meant to die. To be Bean-level quality they should be horrific and dramatic, worthy of a Sean Bean death scene. Or utterly ridiculous, that works too. Please try to keep it within a reasonable number of characters. I'm not looking for Shakespeare here, people. Just a line or two; paragraph at most. Should you fail to turn in a destined death for your Bean, @Gizzy will provide you with an appropriately embarassing fated end.
Vote close will be 10:00pm EST every night.

Watch the show. Get through the first season (its good so it shouldn't be that hard). Its amazing and worth it.
I never read the books prior to watching the show but have recently been listening to the audio book. I can see why maybe it would be "not fun to read". The guy who reads them for the audio books is great, though, and making it worthwhile for me (on top of wanting to understand characters and motivations deeper through the book).
