I must be broken, cause I'm really loving Unity so far. The climbing is really fun, definitely the best the series has had. The combat is still dumb and easy, but it looks cooler. I love the new animations like the new double assassinations, and running double assassinations. The story and Arno seem totally fine to me. I don't care one whit about the modern day stuff, so the less of that the better.
With Patch 2 live for PS4 and PC—and, as of this writing, with the Xbox One version in the pipeline—we want to start sharing a bit about what we're working on for the next major update, Patch 3. As compared to the previous patch, Patch 3 is going to be larger in scope, addressing a number of bugs in the areas where you’re telling us you're having the most problems.
The list of specific fixes is not yet final, but the categories that we’re focusing on include:
Gameplay: this includes bugs like Arno getting stuck on certain areas of the map (including a few more hay carts), problems with getting into/out of cover, character animation bugs, and general camera problems
AI & Crowd: in this category are problems with NPC animations, crowd events, and crowd stations, NPC navigation issues, as well as bugs related to NPCs detecting Arno’s activities in various situations
Matchmaking & Connectivity: this covers a number of issues related to co-op play, including bugs with joining games in-progress and problems that happen during host migration
Menus & HUD: fixes in this category will address missing details in certain menus, problems with some of the mission objective and co-op update pop-ups, localization inconsistencies, as well as some of the issues with menus and pop-ups overlapping each other
General Stability: this includes fixes for a number of crash situations we've identified in both campaign and co-op modes.
Again, while the ultimate list of fixes for Patch 3 isn’t finalized yet, it will be soon. Part of what we want to do at this point is balance the competing desires to get as much as we can into the patch with getting it out quickly. Once we’ve locked down exactly what will be in Patch 3, we will update you again with a more specific set of patch notes. This next patch won't solve every problem, but we're expecting that it will dramatically improve your experience.
We are also investigating various performance issues including framerate drops, and are looking into how we can address them. We’ll tell you more about our progress on that topic in the coming days.
I've been playing Rogue since Tuesday and I'm still only on sequence 3 because I've been too busy sailing around doing everything else because this game is so fucking huge
Exactly the same here. I capture a fort, and the location for six different villages pop up and I'm like welp, guess I'm gonna be here for a while.
I just love how the scope of everything in Rogue is just intensified. I captured my first Man-o-War last night, and it wasn't even a naval battle; it was a damned campaign. I had to clear out the gunboats escorting it so I didn't end up in a minefield. I had to keep dropping oil so the Man-o-War didn't just steamroll me with a broadside. While I was trying to do this, fucking reinforcements showed up. During the course of trying to capture the damn Man-o-War I had to disable and board three other brigs and a frigate, mostly just to replenish the Morrigan's health.
It's not just a "there's more to do" situation, you actively have to do more to get things done. You have to use more tools; you have to slow your pace and detect stalkers, you have to go back out to get more supplies to renovate buildings. It's just a grander game than Black Flag. So good guys.

I swear I fought a guard who used to be a member of the Brotherhood today.
Every time I attacked, he countered. Every time I counted and attacked, he countered or rolled away. Five times I tried to shoot him, four times he rolled out of the way, the fifth time was point blank range and he just ducked.
When I finally killed him, he had phantom blades on him, that man was a former assassin!

So uhhhhhhhhhhhh...I'm playing with the French language option on, so maybe it's different in English, but like...is the Dauphin Louis-Charles supposed to have the body of a grown man and the voice of a very small child?
Broke as fuck in the style of the times. Gratitude is all that can return on your generosity.
Unity is now something I'll be playing through in late December/early January when the patching is done
I'll pick up Rogue on Black Friday and work through that, but GTAV, FC4 and Dragon Age hit tomorrow. There's too much quality stuff out there to be spending time working through a broken game when fixes are on the horizon

currently stuck on the second stage of the eglise st eustache puzzle, can find all the glyphs save one and it's killing me
There's a guy with youtube videos of most of them. I looked one up that was driving me crazy. Just make sure you got the same glyphs and he does, they change sometimes if you reload.
Well, bought this game when I probably should have been saving money.
And then it ran like crap, so now I need to get a new video card, which I've been meaning to do anyways.
So I bought it.
annnnd now I really need to save money.
I guess it might could probably maybe be a bit much
But man I really want my heavy falchion to be cleaving torsos and making heads go flying off with dumb expressions on their faces like in Shadow of Mordor, I want an ultraviolence knob I can turn up to 11

How great would it be if one of the murders you solve had you as the perp
Uh uuuuhhhhhhhh I dunno guys this seems like the perfect crime
We'll probably never solve this one, let's all go home
Look, this thief was just harassing people in the street and he tripped on a loose cobblestone while running away and fell onto a knife, I don't see why you needed to bring me in to consult on this

but also the french assassins are bullshit and their attempt to emulate masyaf is bullshit
masyaf had a system man, you had to do investigations and get your info checked out by a rafiq and then they'd give you a feather
mirabeau just tosses orders with little context and it's usually what arno wanted to do anyway
I redeemed the code but I don't see it in-game
Did you download the weapon from the store after redeeming? It should just be in the menu, under gear customization.
Steam
Ah, I didn't download it
I'm only used to the 360 so I wasn't aware it didn't auto-download on PS4
Thanks!

I'm not sure anything will ever top the Acre cathedral climb from AC1.
