Btw @Rainfall sorry for not accepting your multi invite last night, I was distracted by something else and was really only even playing the single player in short chunks in between pausing to take care of other stuff

I would apologize (was playing with some BW folks) but now that I've seen you haven't acquiesced to the true Katari faith I am no longer sorry.
So I'm a mage... If almost every chest I open has either a bow or a dagger what are the chances the game is bugged and thinks I'm a rogue?
You know now that I think about it... When I opened the chest after solving all 3 constellation things in the a Hinterlands, I got a rare dagger and I'm a Mage.
I've gotten a lot of daggers I think, certainly more than staffs (though I did get a rad unique staff I rocked for a few hours)
I am deeply concerned about this too. I have seen literally one Mage drop so far and am eye ball deep in bows and daggers. I dont know if I should press on and hope I dont have the bug or just start over yet again before I get in too deep. I had a bug the first night that kept crashing and hardlocking my PS4 and randomly dropping sound that finally cleared up and now this. I feel like I have played that intro bit to the point of memorization but I reaaaaaly dont want to get hours upon hours into the game and suddenly find out the character is invalid and have to start over.
If anybody is interested in jumping into the multiplayer (on ps4) let me know. It's a lot of fun!
I tried it on PC and it was janky and awful but hopefully the PS4 multi will be better.
The only big thing is to not run into the other people playing as that's definitely janky. Once you get used to that though it's fun running through the floors with different classes and team compositions.
Sometimes the pots full of money will be resilient to your breaking them. Or they're fancy and immediately reform after you break them.
Those are the primary issues that I can think of though.
Occasionally, you'll get some weird desync and have to restart the game (the host, actually, as opposed to the person getting the desync, which is counterintuitive).
Sometimes, despair demons will teleport through locked doors and you have to back up and let them come out to you.
Those are the big ones I've encountered in my MP.
Oh yeah, forgot that I've also had sound completely cut out. Had to restart DA:I to fix it.
It's a 4-person dungeon delve with a stable of 12 classes of which three start unlocked: Legionnaire (tank), Keeper (Mage, barriers!), and Archer. Each area has five floors and doors which can be unlocked by a type of class (warrior/rogue/mage) to get treasure. Floors 2 and 4 have events (escort/kill target/recover items before they are destroyed) and floor 5 has a boss with a bunch of adds.
I keep seeing an animation bug (I think it's a bug) that distracts me to the point of taking me out of the game a bit just because it looks so awkward. Anyone else with a human female inquisitor always see that her shoulders are pushed forward slightly in every cutscene? I don't know if it's just human female, that's the one i've spent the most with is all.
It's easiest to show in a screenshot when looking from the side, but it's noticeable everywhere else while in motion.
Does this happen for anyone else?
Yeah my female human mage has cutscene scoliosis as well. I despise it, hoping it gets cleaned up because it really F's up my chi.
Now you've all got me worrying about this potential mage/rogue bug
I barely made any progress last night but I definitely got a couple of bow drops
But the schematic I looted from the blacksmith was for a staff? So who the hell knows
How do agents work, exactly? I haven't been able to work that out
They get added under either Josephine, Cullen, or Leliana in the inquisition perks menu. They also count towards the points need to unlock higher level perks, so if you wanted a perk that needs 4 points to unlock, you could just add four agents instead of spending 4 perk points.

Yeah. It's very distracting. IIRC it happened on my female elf as well.

Anyone hit me anytime on multi when I'm on, this shit is my jam(Rainstealer on PS4.) It needs a little more variety in mission types, and I think the drop rates need a bit of tweaking (higher armor seems mandatory for higher difficulties and it's almost impossible to get T2 crafting mats in any quantity) but it's a lot of fun.
My one major issue is that armors aren't salvageable. I've got four Archer and Keeper skins that are just taking up inventory space and will never be used.

I don't even have the Katari to be honest. Necromancer and Reaver have been my jam and they're both incredible. I've seen the Katari, and it's amazing to watch in action, everyone falling all over the place as a big wall of Guard pops up. I just like murdering Commanders in ten seconds of crazy Reaving.

I can't decide if I want this. It sounds really cool in many ways but also seems to have a lot of niggles and quirks and I'm not sure how well it would run on my pc.
But I mean I'm quitting my job mid December and this sure looks like it could be a fun way to fill my empty days for a couple of weeks. If it ran okay.

Gods, I keep getting distracted by shit and not progressing the main storyline. Now I have to choose between 2 groups of stupid, although one is somewhat more sympathetic.
Also, I wanna multi with people, although my connection is apparently not super stable.

It has a LOT of stuff to do
It will at least be a good time sink if nothing else
I wonder how many hours of dialogue were recorded for this game.
Because there is a shit-ton of dialogue (and that's amazing, I spent all of last night talking to people and doing companion quests, and I still have a ton to do)

DOES THIS HAT EXIST IN THE ACTUAL GAME
DO I HAVE TO RESTART AND MAKE A ROGUE
Steam
Reaver is still the best, you can't sway me!
I got it at level 8, the min it recommends. dunno how hard it is before that level.
I'm level 10 and playing on Nightmare
It scales to your level. Not sure if the recommended level range on the description means that it'll stop scaling after level 11.

Is it as much of a silent hit as ME3 multi was?
It does! It may be rogue specific tho, yes. The only picture in game I've seen of it has Varric wearing it.

It is multi-class.
I have played an all-hat party before.
a hat like that is not "multi-class". it is pan-sexual.
I haven't played it yet but it's co-op adventures in the same vein as ME3. Looking forward to it when I get my wow guy where I want him.
CAN QUNARI WEAR IT?
THIS IS IMPORTANT

Sadly no, Qunari wear war paint, not hats.

Does it use Khukuri
that, to me, is the difference between this and skyrim, you really feel like stuff is changing when you do it
that helps avoid the MMO problem of not feeling like you affect the world state
