Sometimes when I join a game in progress and the person I'm spectating fires just as I spawn, I'll be stuck hearing that sound for the rest of the match. Maybe that's what you guys are experiencing?

I've actually also been playing multi entirely with the Gold stereo headset thing. And on that you can set the volume balance between game volume and chat volume. And I've had chat volume down completely by default so I just never heard anyone talk.

@Uriel I think I saw you post saying you had a 560 Ti? Same as I do. I'm running with the following settings. Most of them defaulted to the minimum, then I tweaked them up a bit because it looked worse than BF3, which was silly.

I probably have the advantage of running on a 6 year old monitor that doesn't let me reach into higher resolutions like most people have nowadays.
