I'm just maxing R-Q-E-W now for more time when I actually land a taunt. But how is the W compaird to Q? Heard somewhere that W maxing is good vs melee but never really tested it.
Grass Grows,
Birds Fly,
'til there's Fire in the Sky...
I've always maxed Q first. Old guides I remember saying max W for being aggressive against the laner but honestly I feel like the wave clear + poke of Q is better.
Kalista's going to have a loooooong learning curve in solo queue because another player on her team actually needs to know how her kit works.
Organised play's going to be where we actually see how strong she can be.
Most CertainlyT champions have been like this. His kits often require entire teams to know how the champion works. Yasuo knockup for ult, thresh lantern, that kinda stuff.
They really need to go ahead and rework Warwick, because they're not stopping at the skirmisher/devouring nerfs, they're straight up doing the nasty on his bread and butter too.
Warwick
Hunter's Call (W) duration reduced to 6 seconds from 10 seconds.
Infinite Duress (R) total damage reduced to 200/275/350 damage from 250/335/420
Infinite Duress (R) lifesteal gained during duration increased to 35% from 30%
Those changes won't do anything with his interaction with Skirmisher/Devourer, as the mark lasts six seconds anyhow, and the base damage from his ult isn't the problem.
It'll make his clear SLIGHTLY LESS FAST, however. Won't really impact his sustain in any noticeable manner.
Unless they reverted them, they nerfed skirmisher to deal its true damage over 3 seconds and not on every hit and nerfed devourer on hit damage to base 25 instead of 40. Those changes combined with these take a huge amount of damage off his ult. WW's only problem right now is with skirmisher/devourer his ult is doing way too much damage, so yeah. The issue of sustain junglers being king right now is a jungle issue, not a WW one.
I mean, there's been some time lag to it but it certainly seems like people have been learning to adapt some of the middle-tier guys with less added sustain, like Nocturne and Pantheon, to the current jungle with success. Warwick and Nunu remain ridiculous at the moment, obviously, but I'm pretty sure people are going to adapt.
Anyone tried out Mundo in there yet? We may be back to Mundo jungle being a good idea.
I had a really hard time with Mundo's first clear, but that may have been due to my inexperience in the new jungle when I tested him. His passive just didn't seem like enough to cover both the camps' increased damage and his own skills' health costs.
Pantheon is essentially a sustain jungler in the new jungle due to the ease of procing his passive with AS runes and his ability to weave that in with the golem stun buff. Plus his guaranteed dragon pressure since he can no-damage dragon at basically any point in the game gives him amazing early game map presence (especially from the purple side of the map) since it forces the enemy jungler to ward dragon and be on the bottom side of the map
Edit: Like, Panthon can do this for his first clear
Any jungler that wants to start golems then gank top against this simply can't, they will end on the top side of the map, or backing to buy while pantheon solo's dragon, which is basically GG-no re for your team.

Fair enough, but I don't think anyone's claiming Pantheon was either amazing prior to the new jungle or is on a level with Nunu and Warwick at the moment. Maybe I just missed it?

Some more of the random team-friendly stuff on Gangplank and Jayce, as opposed to yet more faceroll combos or mobility tricks, would definitely be nice.

Eh, Jayce's is good. GP (and WW's similar buff) is basically 'give free gold to your team!' and is really dull and brainless in it's use. Same with Nunu's Blood Boil.

I'm not really worried about whether team-friendly moves are complicated, just that they exist. :P They can't all be lantern.

It's less about complicated and more that there's not really any depth to their use and they have to be really strong to be seen as valuable because 'here's X bonus stats!' isn't something people notice the same way they do a shield or the lantern.
Something like Zeri where your support can custom tailor your bonus stats is actually a really good example of simple stats boosts done well. It's visible, requires gameplay (if the carry or Zeri get seperated it no longer works) and is interesting to work with in terms of the builds it encourages.
I'm sitting home today, kinda bored while I wait for my wife to come home, and I'm thinking of movie/league crossover movies that would be fun to watch.
For Example:
Chasing Singed
Delight in this romantic horror comedy as Vi and group of her closest friends chase Singed across runeterra to hilarious and disastrous results! It's the perfect mix of whimsy, romance, and sheer determination that will take you on a swirl of adventure!

Guardians of the Rift.
Maokia, Gnar, Graves, Sion and Kalista are a rag tag team of outlaws trying to stop Urgot from destroying runeterra.
RiftWars: A New Hope,
A Jungle farmer (Yi) who believes his parents are dead has his life turned around when an old man (Zilian) visits him claiming that he is the only one who can save a pricness (Lux). Is taken off the rift where he is pitted up against and evil force (kassadin) who later turns out to be his father.
Just tried out Kalista for the first time. That jump-on-aa thing is incredibly annoying on first impression. I felt it really breaks with her aa cadence so aas get 'lost' somewhere. I like her kit, but that passive is going to take a lot of games to get used to.
They really need to go ahead and rework Warwick, because they're not stopping at the skirmisher/devouring nerfs, they're straight up doing the nasty on his bread and butter too.
Warwick
Hunter's Call (W) duration reduced to 6 seconds from 10 seconds.
Infinite Duress (R) total damage reduced to 200/275/350 damage from 250/335/420
Infinite Duress (R) lifesteal gained during duration increased to 35% from 30%
I knew they couldn't resist going full retard on this. Ah well, I'll go back to playing WW on occasion for fun instead of considering him a top tier choice like I have been doing for years.

Warwick needs a rework, I just hope it doesn't take a long as the eve one. His kit much like Nunu's is just silly and out dated. I am sorta fine with them just hitting him directly with the nerf bat so I can go back to banning shaco. Warwick will always be a wolfbro but he needs this, he is too dominant.

Breaking Singed. A chemistry teacher goes bad and...
+40 Armor
+50 Magic Resist
+100% Base Health Regen
UNIQUE Passive - Point Runner: Builds up to +30% Movement Speed over 2 seconds while near turrets or void gates
UNIQUE Active: Spawns a gate at target location for 150 seconds (150 second cooldown, can't be placed near turrets). Every 4 seconds the gate spawns a volatile voidling that travels down the nearest lane. These voidlings explode when attacking structures and will ignore champions.
Voidlings and Void Gates get stronger based on champion level.

He's only dominant due to Riot releasing a better version of the OP item they nerfed in season 4. WW has never been OP, with the caveat he got trimmed a bit when he was part of the top lane sustain crew, and even that was more of a gameplay environment adjustment than him actually being OP.
Warwick's kit is actually underpowered. His E would never be released in the current game, it would be released as is with a passive stat bonus attached. He just has a (super forseeable) interaction with exactly one item. which is fixable without decimating a fun champ.
In my limited experience and with having 100% loss rate with her on my team and 100% win rate with her on the other team. I feel the best way to build her is to let the other team pick her then pick graves and proceed to make them regret certain life choices.

It's such a crazy item, honestly. You don't need to dedicate a champ to split push, drop your void gate, go join your team on another objective.
could 5Gate be an all in attack?

With those stats, sure. 3rd or 4th item on everyone, and go drop 5 bottom while you baron.

tri-force? idk.
In the Canucks game, they were playing the Imagine Dragons song form the LCS final during a break in play.
It could work if you use your e a lot. Although, I kinda like brut->essence.
i of course, suck with her. It's too damn dependent on your support picking someone that works well, and knowing how to right click.

Yeh, the idea would be to get it to reset with minion kills and get the proc that way.
