So how much does that CH setup cost between HOTAS and foot pedals?
It was that somehow, from within the derelict-horror, they had learned a way to see inside an ugly, broken thing... And take away its pain.
Warframe/Steam: NFyt
What are the Mustang Omega R9s going for on the gray market?
I have one (along with an Aurora LN) that I am thinking of offloading and just waiting until SC is released before deciding whether or not I want to invest myself in a game of that sort of enormity. Neither ship has LTI.
What is a ballpark figure of what I might be able to get for these two ships, and which place is the safest for both finding a buyer and performing the actual exchange?
Amazon has the full CH Fighterstick/Pro Throttle/Pedals set up for about $350. The Combatstick has fewer buttons, but it's only a few bucks cheaper so I say go for the Fighterstick. I think @TOGSolid has convinced me to go back to my CH roots when I upgrade. I was so much happier with that setup. I never knew what to do with all the rotary dials on the Cougar when it came to space sims and etc. I missed the numerous hats CH had. I think I just got distracted by the all metal construction. But CH's construction is anything but shoddy as the earlier video attests to, the guy had his CH stick for 15 years and it was still performing strong.
It's funny how much joy I get out of just loading up the hangar every now and then to admire the ships I have.
I don't quite believe it is going to be everything we hope it will be but wow am I unreasonably excited just to participate in this game building process... It's helped by just how inclusive RSI has been every step of the way.
If nothing else, I hope more big budget games get made this way in the future
I really like the look of the gladiator, more so than the Hornet. But I just couldn't justify getting it over the more general purpose Hornet, especially since that's the ship included in my package. Maybe if they offer a cross chassis upgrade...
They used to be about twenty dollars a piece cheaper but demand has gone up for some peculiar reason in the past couple years. I can't possibly fathom what could have caused that.
Finally re-downloading the Hangar/AC to check out my Gladiator...
Can't wait to see what they eventually do with it, as in variants ect... I'd love to see an 'explorer/long range' type where you can sort of tweak it into more of a 'direct' combat role by removing the second seat and massive bomb-bay to shove in a bed... and another 'fighter' variant so you can maybe role with that when there are no massive ships to fly in a squadron to take on.
Kinda really hope for the second one... since i mean, how often are you going to be able to actually take on the biggers ships like Bengals...

Would make boarding actions way more amusing if you could release a pack of Honey Badgers.
I'm going to stuff my Freelancer's hold with Hamsters. They're not supposed to actually attack intruders you understand, just cripple their framerate while I vent the rest of the ship into space from the safety of the cockpit.
*edit* Make that space Hamsters, possibly of the miniature giant variety.
There's some sort of official Star Citizen holiday livestream going on right now. I have no idea what it's about cause I'm at work but there will probably be some neat stuff going on with it.

Still ongoing, but the important info so far (Edit: I'm adding info as it the stream goes on):
Mustang commerical shown, going on sale later today by the sound of it.
Arena Commander version 1.0 confirmed to be out this weekend barring something major. Hoping to have it out by the end of the live stream or later today.
16 ships added in 1.0. Including all variants to current ships, Mustangs, Avenger, and Cutlass.
Stream is currently interviewing the Foundry 42 guys.
The Panther is called the Pegasus now. Shown pictures of it; 1100 meters long now.
Starfarer is nearly complete; it is going to use the new modular system. Entire rooms can be swapped and reconfigured.
Idris is (nearly) done with the white/greyboxing; is in engine. Some shots shown. Hanger is in front, just above the rail gun.\
Done with Foundry 42, talking to Mooncollider.
Talking AI with Mooncollider. They've updated the AI for AC 1.0.
Stream died for me for a moment, now an Arena Commander match between Chris Roberts with a team from his studio, against his brother with the Foundry 42 crew.
Chris Robert's team wins; Chris ends the match with 1 kill, 6 deaths.
You will be able to exit your ship in AC 1.0 and EVA; doing so will cause you to draw a pistol. The pistol can kill an enemy pilot if you aim correctly and shoot them. They're calling it an easter egg.
Talk about the Planetside Module. Arc Corp, Terra Prime, and Nyx are confirmed for the first three planets for the Planetside Module.
Talk about non-combat Jobs. Non-combat Jobs are going to more than just simple fly to point missions; death is possible in non-combat roles. Example given is a Scientist closely chasing and filming a comet that is breaking apart.
Got distracted for a bit; came back and they're showing off a demo of the star map with Jump points. It's going to be part of the Galaticpedia.

Horribly lopsided for no discernible reason, but I'll take 2!
Seriously, it isn't Caldari levels of bad, but it is pretty up there.
It's asymetrical, but it's not loppsided. The front is weighted to the right, and the rear weighted to the left. It's easy to see if you look at the spine with main gun on it, which also looks like the center of mass.

I refuse to have an argument about the dictionary definition of lopsided. Webster can do it for me.
While not as lopsided, there are reasons why you'd rather not have a perfectly symmetrical carrier design.
Also, on close inspection, the front part of ship seems to be where the fighters launch from, where the larger back hanger is probably meant for handling larger multicrew ships(like Merchantman/Carrack/890 Jump sized), hence the asymmetrical design. There's also medium sized hangers on the underside.

CH Pro Throttle - $123.34
CH Pro Pedals - $115.97

Yeah, they used to be. Demand for em has gone up thanks to a rapid increase in global shame.

I'm right there with you

I have a Connie, an Aurora and a 325
Was this after putting them into your hangar?
ahem... don't you mean Space Honey Badgers? A species which most certainly would make the terrestrial Honey Badger quake with fear, because space.

whoa didn't know about that change
thanks!
Make sure to log into your hangar before the new year.
At first I got totally excited, but then I realized they mean the miniature model, not the accrual ship model...

Also there were 50 idris going on sale a few minutes ago and more to come apparently (anyone wanna split one? I still have both my kidneys =P)

This is the ship I'm aiming for as my end-game ship. Y'alls can have all yer Bengals and such...but the escort carrier is my baby.

I would argue against that...but I'll let current carrier designs speak for me:
