So, I was unable to make baked goods before leaving on a 2-week holiday (I tried!!)...so for those who have not yet received anything, fear not! At least one of you will have guaranteed treats delivered in January, before the deadline.
Any of our Dallas participants receive anything last week? I had a card for you, but it apparently decided to stay on my table instead of going into your box.
Okay! So I didn't get notification from fedex or my apartment complex that something had been delivered for me, so IronKnuckle's Ghost's delicious treats were just hiding in the front office.

Checked my front office this morning, and brought my new treats to work.
It's all goddamn delicious, both the chocolate cookies and the g-men go great with coffee. Also IronKnuckle's Ghost--if you could share the recipe for those chocolate cookies, I would be super grateful, as I don't believe I could ever eat enough of them.
This reminds me that I sent my treats kind of a while ago, and haven't heard if they made it all right, so maybe I shouldn't beat around the bush... If your forum name is @neville -- have you gotten anything in the mail? Maybe your front office is holding out on you? At this point, you might throw out the light brown treats (recipe said to store 'em at room temp for up to a week), but the dark ones should keep for a month.

They should get there by Saturday, but if not, then definitely by Monday.
I tried one of each before packing to make sure they were tasty enough to ship, and...I think these were the best scones I've made in like, two years. Hope you like 'em!

Also my shame that it's so late. It was like "I don't wanna bake I'm stressed out about all this upcoming holiday" and then it was like "eeeeeeeeh I'll do it next week". I finally decided to get some beer and get buzzed and bang these out.
@scarlet blvd. I got a yummy box in the mail today! I know these as Magic Bars, but have never had them with caramel chips before!
