    Oh no, I know writers can write both serious and silly stories.

    However, the vast majority of Ennis' work is ultra-violent fuck-filled orgies and generally aren't that good. I mean, Preacher was good, but then after that it's just gotten horribly out of control especially The Boys.

    So, when he turns around and writes something with almost no violence and is still top notch and actually somewhat touching yeah it is pretty shocking.

    Anyone here manage to catch today's episode of LoSH and The Batman? Both seemed pretty ok...
    ...though the LoSH episode made Cosmic Boy look like a dick. And they made Count Vertigo part of Green Arrow's origin in The Batman episode. Not sure how well that'll fly with the GA fans.
