    No, they are.

They fit in with the Human Torch costume we've seen and Miles Teller said they were grounded and realistic and not like superhero outfits so

    Yup

They should have kept them in the neat spacesuits from the trailer.

In this gritty and realistic reboot of the beloved franchise, Susan Storm's signature power is portrayed in the way she is overlooked and disregarded as a person of any importance.

    Fuckin lame

They're fine for an origin movie's gear. I don't expect them to wear costumes like the previous movie incarnation of the team did and after all, the F4 are kinda supposed to be more adventurers then superheroes. As long as they find a way to slap a 4 on a sleeve or elsewhere on the suits, I'm fine with them dressing differently.

I think this is my biggest problem

when the X-men costumes got revealed at least they were still recognizable characters and had the X on the belt

    this could be anything

    I know J. Jonah Jameson is a spider-man character

But he needs to be in the F4 movie

Played by J.K. Simmons of course

Basically, I want Whiplash, but with superheroes

Hrmm...I just realized what's been bugging me about the Power Rangers "gritty" video, aside from being super corny. It's exactly the same, scene for scene, story structure as the "Gritty" Mortal Kombat "trailer".

Ah. I thought it would've been something like "Darth Vader. When he's giving you encouragement, you know something has gone horribly wrong."

But your take on it works also.

The Vader book is really cool, but I am still getting used to seeing him in a demoted position and having him talk so much. It's a far contrast from the shadowy, efficiently spoken OT Vader.

Did Vader ever have a book like this during the Dark Horse years? I read part of "Darth Vader and the Ghost Prison" a few years ago, and he wasn't even in that very much, from what I remember.
